Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited (GSECL) is a power generating

company promoted by the erstwhile Gujarat Electricity Board (GEB). As a part of my

6 week industrial training, I took training at Wanakbori Thermal Power Station (WTPS).

During this I have seen the complete process of producing electricity by utilizing coal.

Also I have seen different component of Power Plant like Turbine, Boiler, Condenser,

Economizer, Mills, ESP, etc.

Chairman and Managing Director since 29/04/2013 to 24.02.2014.

Job Description:

Maintain the calendar plan for scheduling and fixing meetings.

Take in phone call for the CMD and put the important ones through.

Fix appointments for them and make sure they tend to those appointments.

Greet all the visitors to the CMD and make them comfortable in the waiting Visitor's

lounge.

Compile all the reports that come in an orderly fashion.

Assist CMD in conducting meetings and take down the minutes of the meeting.

Act as a bridge between employees and the CMD.

Have a good rapport with the other employees and take up their grievances with the

management.

Act as a representative of the CMD in meetings, seminars and conferences if they are

unable to attend.

Keeping the CMD updated about the recent updates like emails, letters and

information of similar nature.

Manage and prioritize the multiple tasks that have been assigned.

Schedule the travel plans of the CMD as and when required.

the supply and execution of the various jobs.

Execution of the project activities as per the design and approved drawings.

Arranging weekly meetings for review of progress of project.

The project is nearing completion, therefore, looking for opportunity at other place in
