My Dear Ones,

When you are complete with yourself, your relationship with you starts.

Only when the relationship with your own self starts, can you have a vacation

in your life. Till then, you may be able to book your flight tickets, pick the place

of vacation, book your hotel, spa, food, girlfriend, everything; but, you will never

experience a real vacation because you have a person with you with whom

you don’t have good relationship - you! If your relationship with you is not

complete, if it is not healed, if it is not settled, you can never have a vacation

in your life. You can book your golf course, golf club, you can do everything

possible, but you will just be suffering with yourself, you will be struggling

with yourself. You need to feel empowered and powerful in your relationship

with you and others. Tirelessly facing your inauthenticity and aligning yourself

to your responsibility is the only way you can build your relationship with you.

Be Blissful!

98Life Strategy Life Strategy

Love is one of the most beautifuL experiences which can happen to a human

being. It makes one feel alive, open, new. It can

reveal some of the unknown dimensions of

one’s personality and make one’s consciousness

expand. However, the very openness which is

necessary to experience love, can also make

one feel extremely vulnerable. This gives rise

to the fear of being exploited or cheated by the

other person. This wrong conditioning about

love becomes a big obstacle to experiencing

love. If someone strongly believes that his or her love will end in pain, they will see that it will end in pain. They will be waiting for it to end in pain. Their own cognition of people and their own selves will cause them to attract

situations which will go on strengthening their wrong beliefs about love. This is because it is human nature to want to make one’s beliefs become a reality, otherwise one would not feel comfortable. That is the reason why conditionings about love, about life, need to be removed before one can experience pure love directly. The right understanding about love will help to go with the flow of love and experience real love.

the way to Look at it is, when love

happens, there is an intense super-

consciousness waiting to break through

the body and express itself. However, the

secure, low mood logic, goes on saying ‘You

will be exploited. If you are so open, so alive,

anyone can exploit you - physically, mentally,

emotionally and economically.’ Men have the

fear that women will exploit them economically

if they are too loving. Women feel if they are

too loving, men will exploit them physically. Both

of them feel, if they are too loving, the other

will exploit them emotionally. So always the

fear exists that if they are loving, they will be

exploited. There is a certain logic in them which

completely bans them from flowing.

one needs to understand that life is

flowing like a river. Only two ways of living

exist; one - the river which is embanked; second

- the river which is dammed. Embankment does

not stop the river completely, it only tells the

river where it should not go. It gently guides the

flow so that it keeps happening continuously

and is useful, not destructive. This is one way of

living life, with minimum rules imposed on the

flow of consciousness. The other way of life is -

completely blocking the river. It means dictating

everything that one should or should not do, coming from a fear-based logic.

Love is Like an embankment, guiding the flow of consciousness. The insecure logic which is against love is like a dam. All the people who are afraid of love are actually afraid of the embankment, but they don’t realize that they are caught in the dam! They are just afraid of the embankment happening around them. The fear of love and the insecure logic which denies love, and goes on creating wrong ideas against love, is a dam. Once the dam is built, it just completely stops the life force. There is no further growth, no further transformation possible. Not just the shine in the eyes, even the shine in the skin disappears when one stops the flow of love in them. Saying no to love is saying no to life itself. It is far more dangerous to deny oneself the experience of love, than any setbacks or restrictions one may (or may not) go through in love!

so when Love happens, one should simply be in love without worrying about where it will lead, or whether one will be exploited or betrayed by the other person. Only then will one be able to experience love as the transcendental and transformational experience it really is.

Is your love really love?

Kriya for Obesity

Obesity is a medical condition in which excess body fat has accumulated in the body, to the extent that it may have an adverse effect on health, leading to reduced life expectancy and/or increased health problems. Body Mass Index (BMI), a measurement which compares weight and height, defines people as overweight or pre-obese if their BMI is between 25 and 30 kg/m2, and obese when it is greater than 30 kg/m2. Obesity increases the likelihood of various diseases, particularly heart diseases, type 2 diabetes, obstructive sleep apnea, certain types of cancer and andosteoarthritis. Obesity is most commonly caused by a combination of excessive food energy intake, lack of physical activity, and genetic susceptibility, although a few cases are caused primarily by genes, endocrine disorders, medications or psychiatric illness. A sedentary lifestyle plays a significant role in obesity. Worldwide there has been a large shift towards less physically demanding

work, and currently at least 60% of the world's population gets insufficient exercise.

Obesity is a leading preventable cause of death worldwide, with increasing prevalence in adults and children. It is considered to be one of the most serious public health problems of the 21st century.

This Kriya, given by Nithyananda, when practiced regularly can drastically reduce a person’s obesity, in a very natural way.

NOTE: If you are doing this Kriya, you have to drink at least 6 liter water per day and you have to cool your eyes, by putting a handkerchief soaked in a little rose water, or just fresh water like with a cooling pad.

DISCLAIMER: This technique is not intended to be

a substitute for professional medical diagnosis or

treatment. Individuals with any type of medical

condition, the elderly, children below 14, women who

are pregnant or suspect they may be pregnant are

advised to seek professional medical advice before

practicing this technique.

The four TaTTvas (Principles) - inTegriTy, auThenTiciTy, responsibiliTy and enriching - can be a greaT source of sTrengTh and sTabiliTy in your life. Being established in these principles makes you directly radiate super-conscious energy. Go on reminding yourself to be established in these four tattvas, even if you feel tiredness and boredom.

The very feeling of Tiredness or boredom can be removed if you look aT iT wiTh auThenTiciTy and inTegriTy. If you are feeling tired, just ask yourself - are you being authentic? Have you done everything to the peak of your capacity? When you ask yourself these questions, the tiredness will no longer affect you, and will slowly disappear, getting replaced by excitement. This is because tiredness is nothing but you pampering yourself. Many times you know that you have the option to drop your tiredness or boredom, but you still stay with it and cherish it. Just understand that tiredness is not like a tsunami or hurricane which will destroy you. It is just a wave in the teacup. What can be the maximum effect of that wave? Nothing, except that it is a wave. You just blow air through your mouth to cool it down, and there are waves, that’s all! So, even with something as small as tiredness or boredom, do not entertain the idea of pampering yourself.

The rooT of This Tiredness is The feeling ThaT you have done Too much. Moreover, you also compare yourself with others and feel that you have done more than them. You say, “I have done so much work, he has not done any work, so I’m still much, much better than him!”. This comparison is why you feel that it is okay to feel tired. Never encourage the feeling of “It’s okay”. Understand that your responsibility is yours, and the other person’s responsibility is theirs. Comparison will not make either of you finish it properly. Even if he does not do his work properly, you are responsible! The cosmos functions through the law of “responsibilism”. You are the source of everything that happens in and around you.

you always measure The resulT of your responsibiliTy in Terms of money and fame, and This is where you fail. When you take up responsibility, higher energies express through you. Do not measure this with your small logic because by the end of your calculation, you will

start asking yourself how you can get the same results without taking up responsibility. When you take responsibility with authenticity, you will not only get much more than what you expected, but you will also experience a state of deathless-ness. You can create and shape your mind, body and consciousness as you wish to.

when you know ThaT Tiredness and boredom are self-desTrucTive, negaTive paTTerns, you can decide noT To allow iT. Complete with these two, and decide that you have lived with them for long enough and now it is time to divorce them! This is not just to increase your productivity; this creates a different space within you. Your very consciousness opens up. For example, when you are doing yoga or some physical exercise, it is pain that limits you. As soon as you feel pain in your muscles, look in and ask yourself if this is real pain or if you are creating it. Your body retains this pain as a protection mechanism, not realizing that you don’t even need this protection. This is how inauthenticity works, it makes you believe that the pain is real and necessary, when it is not required at all. So, just look into it and decide that this pain is non-existent. Your stamina will improve immediately.

Never entertain this kind of powerlessness in any form. Tiredness is enTerTaining powerlessness aT The level of body.depression is enTerTaining powerlessness aT The level of mind.aTheism is enTerTaining powerlessness aT The level of consciousness.Death itself is nothing but all three parts of you entertaining tiredness and powerlessness. Death starts in your life when you entertain tiredness. Whenever you handle your tiredness and boredom with integrity and authenticity, even when you need to leave the body, you will not entertain death.

do noT allow boredom or Tiredness in any way. Your life is your responsibility. The being which does not entertain powerlessness and lives in surrender to the four tattvas is in the space of Brahmanyam Bahuputrataam (the favourite inheritor of the cosmos).

IngredIents

For the batter you need:

• Urad dal (Split black gram) - 1 cup

• Idli Rava (Cream of rice) - 2 cups

To make the uttapam you will need:

• Vegetable oil or ghee

• Finely chopped vegetables -

capsicum, tomatoes, cabbage

• Grated carrots, beets, coconut

etc.

• Chopped coriander leaves

• Salt to taste

PreParatIon

To make the batter:

• Wash the cream of rice with a

few changes of fresh water and

soak in water for about 6 hours.

• Soak the split black gram in a

separate container for about 8

hours.

• Put soaked split black gram

into a blender, add a little water

and blend it to a coarse paste.

The consistency of the batter

should neither be too thick nor

too thin.

• Squeeze out water from the

soaked cream of rice and add it

to the black gram batter.

• Add salt and mix well.

• Pour the mixture into a

bigger container and keep it in

a warm place, like an oven, for

fermentation. It may take about

8 hours to ferment.

You can also use ready made

dosa batter, available in most

Indian grocery stores. Make sure

the batter is as fresh as possible

for the best results.

To make the uttapam:

• Stir the batter properly with

a ladle. Make sure it is of a

pouring consistency, if not, add

some water. Add a pinch of salt

to it.

• Take a flat pan (you can use

either a cast iron or a non-stick

pan) and heat it on the stove on

medium for a few minutes. Make

sure the pan is neither too hot

nor too cold by sprinkling a few

drops of water on it. The water

droplets should immediately

start boiling with a hissing

sound. Wait for the water to

evaporate completely, turn

down the heat, and spread some

oil/ghee on the pan.

• Pour about a big ladle full

of the batter on the pan and

spread it evenly with a circular

motion. If you like a thicker

version, you can use more

batter. It should start looking

like a pancake at this point.

• Now immediately add the

toppings of carrot, beats,

capsicum, coconut, coriander

etc. on the pancake

• Add some oil/ghee all around

the uttapam (optional if you are

using a non-stick pan).

• Reduce the flame to medium

and cover it with a lid for a

couple of minutes.

• Once it is cooked on one side,

turn it gently onto the other

side and cook for few more

minutes

• The uttapam is now ready to

serve.

Vegetable Uttapam

Uttapam is a popular breakfast item, especially in southern India. It is made like a pancake, and is topped with shredded vegetables, very similar to a pizza. It may be served with chutney, saagu or sambhar. Uttapam is very healthy and easily digestible, since it is made from a fermented batter of urad dal, rice or rava. The batter can be made at home, or store bought.

1716Siddha & Ayurveda Siddha & Ayurveda

In one of the oldest Vedic scriptures, the

Rig Veda, we find references of ‘Go-ghrita’ or cow’s

ghee (clarified butter). One of the hymns of the Rig

Veda (1500 BC) is in praise of ghee, and is intended

to be accompanied by ritual libations of the golden

substance into fire. In the Vedic tradition, ghee alone

is used in fire rituals to kindle the ‘fire’ or ‘agni’ and to

satisfy the agni till the end of the ritual. This external

agni can be correlated to the digestive fire in our

stomachs (jataragni), which needs to be pleased by

ghee alone, and not by other fatty substances like oils

or animal fats.

Go-ghrita decreases the unwanted cholesterol!

There is a serious mis-belief among people

that consuming ghee will cause an increase in

cholesterol levels. A thorough study was carried out

at an Ayurveda hospital to monitor the cholesterol

levels before and after taking medicated ghee, and it

was found that ghee actually decreases the unwanted

cholesterol.

All the complaints about cholesterol and its

complications have increased only recently. It is only

when people started abandoning daily home-made

simple, light and easily digestible meals and turned

to readily available oily, spicy, deep fried, double

fried foods, that the incidence of cholesterol and

heart disease increased rapidly. Now the situation

is even worse, with many processed foods available

in the market, which are laden with artificial flavors,

colors and preservatives. The shelf life of foods has

increased dramatically, but so has the incidence of

lifestyle related diseases, especially in the urban

population.

Go-ghrita vs. Vegetable oil

Marketing strategies and false information have forced Indians to switch over from go-ghrita to

refined vegetable oils as cooking media. The main

selling factor used by the manufacturers of these

vegetable oils is the fear of cholesterol. The truth is,

cow’s ghee has some unique characteristics which

promote health:

• Cow’s ghee contains 62-67% saturated fat and a good amount of M UFA (Mono unsaturated

fatty acids) and an essential fatty acid, linoleic acid, all

of which are most desirable for health.

• During preparation of ghee, when butter is

clarified, a protein called ‘casein’ is removed, which is

responsible for elevating unwanted cholesterol.

• Its melting point is 35 degree Celsius

which is about two degrees less than the normal

human body temperature, leading to its digestibility

coefficient rate of 96%, which is the highest among all

edible oils.

• It contains natural Vitamin A which keeps

the outer lining of the eye ball moist and prevents

most of the eye disorders including blindness.

• Go-ghrita contains beta-carotene and Vitamin E which are well-known antioxidants,

giving it its anti-aging property.

Ayurveda on Cow’s Ghee

Ayurveda extols cow’s ghee for its

many benefits and properties. A reference from

Dhanvantari Nighantu about the qualities of Go-ghrita

is given in the quoted Sanskrit shloka.

What You Need to Know About Cow's Ghee

Translation: "Ghee is beneficial for improving

one’s intellect, intelligence, digestive fire,

immunity, physical strength, longevity, eye health

and complexion. It can be enjoyed by one and all,

including elderly people and children. Cow’s ghee

is best in alleviating emaciation, weakness and

poisoning of any kind. It has a cooling effect on

our body and mind.

The list of benefits is endless.

Just enjoy this wonderful nectar of the Planet!"

Some of the actions of Go-ghrita as outlined by

ancient Ayurvedic texts are given below:

1. Action on the brainBrain is one of the main sites that go-ghrita acts

on. Being a fat and therefore soluble in other

fats, it is able to cross the blood-brain barrier. Go-

ghrita improves the receptive power and memory

power. Brain development during childhood can

be enhanced by giving 1 teaspoon of Go-ghrita to

children everyday.

2. Action on gastro-intestinal tract and

digestive fire

Go-ghrita is said to be Agni vardhaka (enhances

digestive fire). Agni is that factor which affects

the biochemical transformations in the body,

be it hormones, enzymes, or hydrochloric acid

present in the stomach. People with a poor

appetite should consume 1 to 2 teaspoons

ghee a day in their daily diet. Another benefit of

go-ghrita is that it soothes the gastric mucosa,

preventing the formation of gastric ulcers. It also

reduces hyperacidity and persistent gastritis.

3. Action on immunity

Go-ghrita is said to be “bal vardhaka”. “Bal” is

the resistance power and immunity of a person.

Go-ghrita enhances the immune power, increases

the body strength and prevents the person from

getting recurrent fever.

4. Action on wounds, burns and stingsFantastic results are seen when ghrita is applied

on wounds, burns, cuts or insect bites. The

burning sensation and the scars of a wound

disappear on application of ghrita. There is a

medicated ghee named: ‘Jaatyaadi Ghrita’, which is

especially useful to heal deep wounds, in fissures,

external burns and cuts.

5. Action on throat and respiratory

systemGo-ghrita is good for the throat. It is especially

good for making the svara i.e. voice good, smooth

and tuned. It is especially indicated for singers.

Go-ghrita intake in the diet is beneficial in

strengthening the respiratory system as well.

6. Action on jointsGo-ghrita lubricates and strengthens the joints

of the backbone, knees and so on, thereby

reducing the risk of joint disorders.

7. Action on hair and anti-aging

effects

Go-ghrita also helps in strengthening the hair

roots, thus preventing excess hair fall. The anti-

oxidants in go-ghrita make it an effective anti-

ageing substance.

Siddha & Ayurveda

Rudraksha is a beautiful power-packed bead which is full of energy. This sacred bead is a symbol of spirituality, fearlessness and a source of power, health, peace and prosperity. The benefits of Rudraksha can be felt at the level of both body and mind. Physically it exhibits amazing curative properties for many diseases as well as anti-aging properties. For ages it has been observed and reported that people suffering from hypertension, diabetes, cardiac problems, stomach disorders, stress, arthritis and phobias get beneficial results by wearing Rudraksha consistently. It has been proven that wearing Rudraksha has positive effects on a person’s blood pressure and controls stress, anxiety, depression and palpitations. Mentally, it gives a tremendous amount of tranquility, concentration power and helps in attaining calmness of mind with ease.

These beads are the seeds of the Rudraksha fruit obtained from Rudraksha trees which have mystical properties. Every Rudraksha has dividing lines running from top of the seed unto its bottom with equally spaced clefts called Mukhi (face) on the surface of the beads. According to the number of mukhis (faces) the Rudraksha bead type ranges from single face to a several faced bead (up to 21 faces). Rudrakshas can be worn by anyone as a single bead necklace, as a string of beads called mala or as bracelets. Rudraksha mala is a spiritual tool used in the practice of chanting mantras (a meditative practice).

In the Sanskrit language 'Rudra' means Lord Shiva and 'aksh' means eyes. The mere utterance of this sacred word Rudraksha is said to create emotions and vibrations touching the soul and bringing a person closer to God. Empower yourself with Rudraksha, the true bio-jewelry which is one of the most potent manifestations of the cosmic force!

buddha poornima or buddha JayanTi is celebrated every year in the lunar month of Vaishakh, on the full moon day, usually in April or May. This year it will fall on 25th May. This festival is celebrated by Buddhists all over the world, in the memory of the enlightened master Gautam Buddha. The significance of this day is triple-fold, as it is connected to three very important events in Buddha’s life - his birth, his enlightenment, and his attaining Parinirvana. It is also called Vesak, which is derived from Vaishakh, and many other local variations of the same. Buddhists from countries all over the world like Nepal, China, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Japan and Vietnam flock to Bodh Gaya and Sarnath (Buddhist pilgrimage sites) to pay their respect to their master and commemorate his life and teachings.

This fesTival is celebraTed in a unique way, probably because of its being connected to not just one but three events - the birth and enlightenment of Buddha and Buddha leaving

his body. It is not an occasion for unrestrained indulgence of senses. Neither is it a completely sombre event. This day is marked by prayers, chanting of mantras, festivities, decorations, lighting lamps and colorful lanterns at homes, colorful processions by monks, acts of kindness like distribution of free food and clothing and releasing caged birds and animals. People gather in temples to pay homage to Buddha by offering flowers, incense and lights. Monks give sermons and chant mantras invoking peace and happiness for the whole world. Buddhists refrain from any type of killing on this day, and are expected to partake of vegetarian food.

above all, the day is spent in remembering the major incidents in Buddha’s life and his teachings. At temples, scenes from his life are often enacted through plays which helps inspire people towards enlightenment. In this way, Buddhists reiterate their sankalpa to transform themselves and bring peace, happiness and harmony to their lives and to enrich the whole world.

ved vyas was born on an island on the holy river Yamuna about 5000 years back. His father was Parashar Rishi and his mother was Satyavati. He was a teacher of the Vedas and the father of four sons - Pandu (king of Hastinapura), Dhritarashtra (his successor), Vidura and Sukhadeva. He is considered to be the greatest acharya (spiritual teacher) from the Vedic tradition. He is believed to be immortal, and said to be living in retreat in north India. He was the author of the Mahabharata (a narrative epic of the Kurukshetra War), the Brahma Sutras, the eighteen puranas (ancient Hindu Vedic texts consisting of narratives of different deities) and it was he who classified the Vedas (the oldest layers of Sanskrit literature) into four branches.

vyasa was more than just the scribe of the Mahabharata - he played an important role in the Kuru family as well. He was the enlightened master who tried to remove the veil of ignorance from the eyes of the kings and princes of the Kuru family. He dropped several hints about the events to follow, but when King Dhritarashtra and Duryodhana ignored his words, there was nothing he could do but warn his mother Satyavati that she wouldn’t be able to bear the events that would follow and take her to his hermitage in the forests where she spent her last days.

vyasa was the uLtimate teacher of enlightenment. The Mahabharata contains teachings that are relevant even today. It describes the four goals of life, dharma (integrity or righteousness), artha (prosperity), kama (honest desires) and moksha (liberation).

Each of these is so vast in scope that they were expanded into four separate works. Further, each son of Kuru represents one aspect of a person’s mental set-up. For example, Duryodhana represents the shadow at its most corrupt and morally reprehensible. He was egoistic, ignorant and was a slave to his unending desires. He was jealous of the Pandu princes and a puppet in the hands of Shakuni, his maternal uncle who was responsible for many attempts to humiliate or kill the Pandu princes. An understanding of Duryodhana’s character will lead a person to understand their own “lower identity”, which will bring them closer to overcoming the shadow. Similarly, each character has his own representation and instead of merely preaching, Vyasa’s scripture helps the readers get a deeper understanding of themselves.

the brahma sutras, aLso written by Vyasa, takes the mind to the peak of logic and beyond it. They methodically stitch together all the teachings of the Upanishads and the Bhagavad Gita and reconcile the seemingly contradictory statements made within them. They encompass all schools of thought and discuss all doctrines associated with Buddhism, Jainism, Yoga, Nyaya, Vaisheshika, Shaiva, Shakta, Atheism, and Sankhya philosophies. Every scripture he has written finds its relevance in life today.

as a mark of honor to Vyasa, the seat on which any spiritual teacher sits to expound the truth is known as Vyasa Peetha (the seat of knowledge). All teachers are answerable to the Vyasa Peetha for teaching nothing but the truth as they know it.

2524Science Meets Spirituality Science Meets Spirituality

The process of initiation and how it creates transformation in people has baffled spiritual seekers and skeptics alike for ages. Recent scientific research studies have begun to solve this mystery by revealing findings that show a connection between verbalization and the human DNA. Russian scientists have revealed that the human DNA is a biological internet, with evidence that DNA can be influenced and reprogrammed by words and frequencies. This modern scientific insight has been known to the vedic rishis (sages) from time immemorial and has been passed down through the ages from one spiritual master to the next. Raghupati Yogi, Nithyananda’s spiritual master, would tell him that learning the Sanskrit language and changing Sanskrit mantras (a sound, syllable, word, or group of words that is considered capable of creating a spiritual transformation within the individual)

was yoga for the brain. Nithyananda realized that this was true when he noticed this phenomenon during the days while he was wandering the length and breadth of India as a monk. He saw that people who spoke in a cultured language behaved and lived culturally. The standard of the language a person spoke directly influenced the manner in which that person thought and lived his life. He found that language and words are nothing but the reflection of our DNA.

The other important discovery made by these scientists is that our DNA can be reprogrammed by speech, when words are modulated on correct carrier frequencies. Nithyananda explains this further and says that when the Upanishads (collection of spiritual texts which form the basis for the Hindu religion) are chanted by a group of people whose DNA is already altered, even the

The Genetic Science of Initiation

cosmic DNA can be altered. This truth was implemented in the Vedic tradition by mantra chanting and homas (rituals in which offerings are made into a consecrated fire) to bring rain. Our DNA can also be reprogrammed by simply being in the presence of already reprogrammed DNA. The space that is reprogrammed by the reprogrammed body of the Master is called an “energy field”. Just living in that energy field can simply reprogram any individual’s DNA.

The discoveries presented by these researchers clearly prove how affirmations and words from enlightened masters directly affect one’s body and mind. This research also proves that when someone listens to the great truths directly from an enlightened Master, it becomes a part of their DNA and that is the reason why millions of people are transformed when they listen to the words of the Master.

This is how Masters’ words directly give experience to people.

Nithyananda reveals that this process is called “initiation”. Initiation is like lighting a lamp from a fire that is already lit. A lamp can only be lit from a fire or another lit lamp. Similarly, only the reprogrammed DNA of an enlightened being can transmit the right words and frequency into another individual and reprogram their DNA. Any individual’s DNA can be reprogrammed by the right words, right chanting and the right initiation from an enlightened master. In the Inner Awakening program conducted by Nithyananda, every session is an initiation. The DNA of every participant gets reprogrammed for enlightenment. Initiation enables the participants to have a glimpse of living enlightenment during the program.

Awareness, Your Key to Peace

When you become responsible for the words you utter to you and to others what do you think will happen? Reduction in the words in your inner space will happen. The amount of inner chatter that goes on continuously inside you will lessen considerably.

“Yogah pratavam dwaram vannirotah” - The first step towards yoga is the reduction in the words you create. When you bring integrity, automatically the words inside and outside will drop drastically. When you bring awareness to what you are saying and committing to, your authenticity will increase and your capacity to fulfill your word will also increase. It becomes a beautiful, enriching virtuous circle that begins

when you practice integrity.

Integrity Kills Inner Chatter

Words that are clearly expressed with awareness create fulfillment. The word that is perverted and hurting yourself is guilt. The word that is hurting others is violence. The word that goes on expanding you is desire. The commitments that constantly keeps you in a state of completion and expansion is integrity. If you just decide, ‘From this moment I will honour the words I utter to others and me as my life!’, the inner thoughts and inner chattering will drastically reduce. A huge breakthrough in your thinking process will happen because the moment you become aware of the thought or word you give to you and others, you will know whether your thought is

from ego, jealousy or arrogance and immediately

you will complete it, correct it. You will create so

much good health in you with this breakthrough

in your thinking. Each new cell created in the

space of integrity will transform your body so

that it expresses vibrant health.

Unclutch!

Someone recently asked me a question about

unclutching: ‘The moment I sit for unclutching

I have more thoughts, more problems!

Swamiji, what should I do next time I sit for

meditation or unclutching?’

How will you not have? Unclutching is not

switching off the electricity to your house. It

is the cleaning, sweeping and wiping of your

house. It is not like electricity where you will

switch off and then unclutch. No. It is cleaning

and sweeping and wiping. First listen to your

inner space. Listen! That is the first step for

meditation, for your life.

With integrity literally you will clean your inner

space of all the unwanted beliefs that you

constantly carry. The strong belief you carry that

you are a failure will continuously lead you to

failure. When you start living in integrity you will

diagnose those self fulfilling negative prophecies

that you constantly feed to yourself and remove

them from your inner space.

Raise YouRself BY YouRself!

Lord sri krishna says again and again in the Bhagavad Gita:

“Uddhared aatmana aatmanam na aatmaanam avasaadayetAatmaiva hyaatmano bandhur aatmaiva ripur aatmanaha”

raise yourseLf by yourseLf. If you are continuously raising yourself by yourself, you are your friend; if not, you are your enemy.

you need to feeL empowered and powerful in your relationship with yourself and others. Tirelessly facing your own inauthenticity and aligning yourself to your responsibilities is the only way you can build your relationship with yourself. If you are not ready to face your inauthenticity, who in the world do you think is going to face it? That is why everybody turns their face away from you. You continuously cry, ‘Everybody is turning their face away from me, nobody loves me, nobody relates with me’. There is so much inauthenticity in you that even you don’t want to look at it, then why will anyone else look at it? Only when I was able to be completely comfortable with me, the world was comfortable with me. When you are complete with you, the world will be complete with you. When you are incomplete with you, the world will be incomplete with you. Completion with your own self is Satori; completion with the world is Samadhi (high consciousness state of oneness with the world). Completion with your own self is Pratyag atma Chaitanya Jaagrati (awakening of the individual consciousness); completion with the cosmos is the experience of Brahmanyam Bahuputrataam (I am the favourite inheritor of the cosmos)!

ConfliCt in Relationships

your inauthenticity is again and again exposed to you whenever there is a conflict in your relationships. You need to take up integrity as a principle to live by, as a space from which you operate. I am not making a statement that integrity should be there just in your actions. Integrity has to be there in the very space from which you act; the space where your cognition happens. When you bring integrity, you will heal all the damage you caused inside you as well as outside you

Taken from Nithyananda’s Daily Discourses on the subject of love & relationships delivered in March, 2013 in Bidadi Ashram, Bangalore, India

Relationships staRt with You!

reLationships are not something separate from you; they are the very extension of you. The best relationships start when you have a great relationship with yourself. If you are unable to be in restful awareness, if you don’t have the ability to sit with yourself silently, you should know that you do not have a good relationship with yourself. First you have to build your relationship with yourself.

if you are feeLing powerless in your relationships, be very clear that you are powerless in your relationship with yourself. Your relationship with yourself and your relationship with others both happen from the same space. If you are feeling powerless in your relationship with others, you will be suffering from the same powerlessness in your relationship with yourself.

Just Look in, see the ideas you carry about you. How many of you suffer with a deep distrust over yourself that you cannot raise yourself to a higher level? Why? Understand, this is because you are not consistently, continuously enriching yourself and raising yourself to the next level. You gave up on yourself. Your relationship with you, by you, lacks enriching. You are not in completion with yourself.

due to the relationships. It will remove the ignorance you had in the zone of relationships. Your ignorance in the space of relationships not only causes damage in others, it causes damage in you also. When you cause any damage in your spouse, mother or father, be very clear, you cause damage in yourself also. This is because your father, mother and spouse - all the relationships you have – decide the confidence and the energy you have about yourself.

one of the important healing factors in relationships is the other person feeling confident that you are transformed, that you are going to be different in the future. To tell you honestly, nobody is too serious about the past hurt. Everybody is only interested in the future. If you give them the confidence and assurance that the future is going to be really transformed, there is nobody who is not ready to heal their past or drop their past. Everyone is waiting to drop their past and relate with you in a new way. When you bring integrity, first thing that will happen is that you will give the confidence to others that they can expect a new you in their life, a new transformed being in their life. Then, suddenly even you will trust that your transformation is real.

how You Can Be integRated in YouR

Relationships!

the first thing you should do when you start living your life is to find the root thought pattern which is causing you suffering and complete with yourself, do svapoornatva (a spiritual process given by Nithyananda which involves talking to your own self in front of a mirror*). That completion gives you the courage to relate with people with integrity and authenticity. People are afraid to relate

with other human beings. Even when you go to meet your friends you prepare all the statements you have to tell him. Why can’t you be spontaneous? Even to meet with your friend why do you need so much of preparation? Why do you need so much of inauthentic strategy planning?

it is so unfortunate the trust level between friends has dropped because your trust on yourself is compromised. You are afraid even of your own self. You don’t sit spontaneously. Even with yourself, you rehearse and talk. That is why you can’t talk spontaneously with others.

what is peRsonalitY?

what you beLieve yourseLf to be (mamakara), what you show to others as you (ahamkara) and what others perceive you to be and expect you to be (anyakara) - all these three put together is your personality - your being. Living in your peak capacity in all these three is authenticity, shraddha. It is raising your belief about yourself, aligning it with your projection of yourself, and fulfilling others’ expectation of you. When you stretch yourself to fulfil all three to your peak capacity, you are being authentic.

who has expectations towards you, you yourself make them expect things from you. Some of your words and body language is responsible for them to have that expectation from you. That is the reason why you need to take responsibility for others’ perceptions and expectations about you.

i want aLL of you to understand an important truth. Some part of you which is suppressed by you, which wants to realize itself, goes and sits in others’ heart. It becomes an expectation about you, so that the suppressed part is realized. When you are not ready to listen to your own heart and expand, divine helps you by creating the expectation in others so that you can expand.

the path to self-Realization

i have seen in my own life, from my own experience I can tell you, when I decided to fulfil others’ expectations about me, when I started stretching myself, I realized this is what is my own expectation about me also! When you fulfil others’ expectations about you and realize that this is also your expectation about you, you reach the space of self-realization.

as Long as you think you are stretching yourself just to fulfil others’ expectations you will carry a continuous irritation, agitation and heaviness. When you realize that this is also your own expectation about you, then you will have fulfillment, the joy of renunciation, the joy of sacrifice, the joy of vairagya – this is vairagyananda, tyagananda.

peopLe may ask, ‘how can renunciation be joyful, how can tyaga be joyful?’ If renunciation and sacrifice is done because of others’ expectation it will only be painful. But when you

click with the truth, when you start stretching yourself to others’ expectation and you realize this is your own expectation about you also, then it is no more anyakara! You are expanding for your mamakara and ahamkara. Now nobody else is forcing you!

life happens outside!

you need to understand that life happens to us outside us. Consciousness may be inside but life is happening outside. That is why you need to enrich anyone who comes in contact with you. Enriching means you taking the responsibility with integrity and authenticity that you are committed to continuously expanding yourself and the life in and around you. If you were just inside a deep jungle in a cave, where you eat some forest fruits and drink the Ganga water and sleep, and you don’t see people at all - then you may not need to enrich others. But even then you need to enrich the tree which gives you the fruit and the river which gives you water. In our practical life, life is happening to us outside us. Let us do manana (contemplation) and understand this.

for exampLe, think of all the identities you carry about you, which put together you feel as you. It can be daughter, mother, wife, daughter-in-law, friend, teacher, student, devotee, entrepreneur etc. Different identities occupy a certain percentage of your being. So now, the identity you feel as a daughter will get fulfilled, it can become complete only if your father is enriched. Life can happen to you in the ultimate form as a wife only if your husband is enriched. Only when each person involved in your personality, with whom life is happening to you, only if each of them is enriched will your life be complete and enriched. You can never

be complete or fulfilled if all the people who are involved in your life are not complete and fulfilled. Only when you enrich others you are enriched.

when you decide you can never fulfil others’ expectation in your life you literally destroy yourself. I am not saying that you can fulfil everyone’s expectation about you but I am saying when you decide that you can’t fulfil others’ expectations about you, you are dead, you decide to be dead. You stop allowing life from happening in you. Life happens to you, brings you excitement when you go on stretching yourself to fulfil others’ expectation. Taking the responsibility to fulfil others’ expectation even if they are not fulfilling, not ready to fulfil your expectations, is love.

take the responsibiLity for love. That is where a relationship starts. Do not say ‘I love you’ to anybody unless you are ready to take the responsibility to fulfil their expectations about you, without bothering whether they are ready

life!

even if others’ expectations from you is limiting you or them, you need to expand, stretch yourself to fulfil them first. Then make them understand that they need to expand; not before that. Only then they will understand their inauthenticity. Others are ready to listen about their inauthenticity from you only when you first prove that you are authentic.

the energy which you use to defend yourself from others and the energy that you need to stretch yourself to others’ expectations, both are one and the same. You need less energy to stretch yourself to fulfil others’ expectation than constantly defending yourself from others. Even a glimpse of love makes you expand yourself for more and more love. The best strategy plan for your life is the decision to love and build relationships!

Caught in a Pattern?

whAt Is A “PAttern” ?

Any cognition you make out of unawareness and incompletion, which comes back to you again and again in some form or the other, is a pattern or “samskara”. Cognition is any idea, perception, understanding, opinion or statements you create inside yourself. If you look in, you will see, your life is nothing but a bunch of patterns. From waking up in the morning to working in office, to interacting with people, to going to sleep, most of your actions are carried out in a pre-programmed manner. There is very little space for Life to happen to you, because you define the boundaries of your life with your patterns.

You start defining your life with your patterns.

For example, if you feel you lose your patience very quickly, that is a pattern. If you feel you have stage fear, that is also a pattern. If you feel you always fail in everything you do, that is also a pattern. Anything that stops you from expanding and making progress in the inner world or the outer world, is a pattern.

you Are not born wIth your PAtterns

You are not born with the patterns. Please understand, when you are not born with a certain pattern, it means it is created inside you. Anything created can be changed. One of the biggest problems you face is, “I understand what is right and what is wrong, but I forget and do my own thing!” This is the one statement I hear from everybody every day, “I understand what is right

Short Reads Short Reads

and wrong, but when it comes to actions, I act as

per the old patterns.” Now you can destroy the old

one and create the new pattern. But constantly,

for years and years and years, you go on cribbing

– “No, I know what is right, what is wrong. But

I cannot do, I cannot look, I cannot understand, I

cannot change..!”

A smAll story:One guy during the lunch time in his office, opens

his lunch box and says, “Oh God, today again the

same potato, brinjal and tomato rice.” Anyhow he

eats it. Next day, again he opens his lunch box

and starts crying, “Same potato, brinjal and tomato

rice!” All his friends are really worried now. Third

day again he opens his lunch box and exclaims,

“Oh God, same potato, brinjal and tomato rice!”

His friends started asking him, “Your wife doesn’t

like you? Is there any fight going on between you

and your wife? Why is she sending you the same

food everyday knowing that you don’t like it?”

That fellow says, “No I am not married. I cook for

myself.”

Buddhi – intelligence – means knowing clearly,

“Anything I created I can destroy and create

something new.” Every time you think, “I cannot,

I cannot, I cannot”, you are giving strength to

your ignorance. When you say, “I can, I can, I can”,

you are giving strength to your buddhi. Clearly

recognizing that your patterns were created by

you, and can be destroyed, is acting from buddhi.

Meditation For IntensityAdapted from Nithyananda’s Discourse on the Shiva Sutras in November, 2007 delivered in Los Angeles, California, USA

Beyond Mind (Meditations) Beyond Mind (Meditations)

Page 25: Nithyanand Times - May, 2013

4948Beyond Mind (Meditations) Beyond Mind (Meditations)

Living with intensity is to live without inner or outer conflict. When a person is strongly connected with an idea or thought, they feel they can overcome any obstacle. They can flow towards the positive achievement of their goals. However, people can also intensely create conflict. This is not the expression or radiation of true living energy within the self. Intense people who constantly create conflict can be described as people who are not flowing smoothly with people and life. They have the intensity, but it is used to create blocks and obstacles. There is no flow or natural expression of life energy.

In the Shiva sutras, intensity is described as a form of living energy that rises and flows through the seven chakras in the body, which are the main energy centers. This form of energy does not create conflict but flows smoothly and strongly. It can be described as a river which flows intensely and smoothly through various paths and courses to reach the ocean. It is indeed remarkable, that rivers always find their way to the ocean, without any navigators. It is so intense in its purpose, that even when an obstacle presents itself, it flows around, to reach the ocean. The river, unlike the human ego, does not get hurt when an obstacle presents itself. Often times, human beings feel hurt by an obstacle on their path and stop flowing. They then become like a lake that has decided to remain where it is, without achieving its goal.

If like the river, people decide to continue persistently on their path, making necessary modifications or turns on their life course as and when necessary, they will achieve their goals. If obstacles frighten or hurt the ego, then people may stop flowing completely. This can lead to stagnation in growth and possibly depression and frustration.

There are people who are intense but who lost the ability to flow; similarly, there are people who just flow but are not intense. In Sanskrit there is a word – Jnanavarishta bhakti used by the famous Indian enlightened master Ramakrishna Paramahamsa. This means that it is important to have devotion or deep bhakti, but it is also important to have the intensity with knowledge. It is important to have both the qualities of intensity and flow to achieve life’s goals.

Technique to raise awareness and life energy

• Close your eyes and sit with your spine straight.• Inhale and exhale as slowly as possible but as deeply as possible. • Visualize yourself as a light ball in the Mooladhara chakra or root center, at the root of the spinal cord. Forget all other parts of your body. Forget everything. Just be the light. (duration: one min)• Intensely bring your awareness, bring

yourself to the Swadhishtana chakra, two inches above the root center. Be there. Be in the Swadhishtana intensely. Forget the other centers, other parts of the body. Just be in Swadhishtana, spleen center. (duration: one min)• Slowly move up to the Manipuraka chakra or the navel center. Now be intensely present in the navel center. Let your livingness be in the navel center. (duration: one min)• Move to the Anahata chakra or the heart center and stay there intensely. (duration: one min)• Move to the Vishuddhi Chakra or the throat

center. Live intensely now in the throat center. Let the intense light ball be in the throat center, which is you. (duration: one min)• Move your energy to the brow center or ajna chakra. Be centered on the third eye, Ajna chakra. Be living in the Ajna chakra. (duration: one min)• Slowly, but intensely, bring yourself up. Lift yourself up to the Sahasrara chakra, the crown center. Be intensely present in the form of light in the crown center. (duration: one min)• Relax.

outer world. Many people come and ask me, ‘Swamiji, how can we

be conflict free in this world filled with conflicts? Only when the

whole world is silent, happy, blissful I can be conflict free.’ No!

Understand, it is never going to happen.

Once one child was waiting on the seashore. His mother asked

him, ‘Why are you waiting? Why don’t you take a bath?’ He

replied, ‘ No, no. First let all the waves settle down then I’ll take

a bath.’

It is never going to happen!

Only when you start becoming conflict free, suddenly

the world which you experience becomes conflict free. This is the

only possibility.

First let us talk about the conflict with another person

- conflict happens only when there is ego. Always both the

sides are responsible for the conflict - because even if one side

does not have ego, conflict will not happen. For a conflict two

egos are required who are not ready to resolve the situation,

who lack integrity, authenticity, responsibility (or not taking

responsibility for others irresponsibility), and do not carry the

space of enriching the other - only when there is a lack of all the

four, conflict is possible.

The other type of conflict is due to a situation in your life.

When you clean your inner space with the power of integrity you

will realize that all the contradictions, conflicts, and confusions

you carry are responsible for your whole life, for all your actions,

all the reactions you attract from others, all the happenings of

life. Integrity will automatically teach you to take responsibility.

You will understand that for everything happening in and around

you, you are responsible. Conflict happening outside is nothing

but a reminder of the conflicts and incompletions which are

there inside. Whenever a conflict happens, scan your inner space

to see where you are lacking completion, or where you

are not living the four tattvas.

Take the responsibility for all the conflicts in

your life, with people or with situations. Bring integrity

to you in your inner space by doing swapoornatva

kriya, or completing with yourself. Drop all the negative

patterns you created in you, which you now feel as a

part of you, and create a complete you. Out of that

completion, whatever you project to the outer world you

will experience that without conflict. This is because when

there is no inner conflict there will be no outer conflict.

Not having any inner conflicts and because of that not

having any outer conflicts is advaita. That is shuddha

advaita (pure advaita), Shiva advaita.

The more and more complete you are with

yourself and with others, the more and more you will

experience the world also as conflict free. Living a conflict

free life in your body, mind and what you experience as

the world - I am not using the words ‘the whole world’, I

am using the words ‘what you experience as the world’ -

is living enlightenment.

Constantly renouncing thoughts is unclutching, living renunciation as a lifestyle

is living enlightenment. Ajapa japa is a powerful

way of renouncing the words and thoughts

continuously happening in you. Feeling

connection is a powerful method to renounce

all the emotions which are not necessary

happening in you. Unclutching is the ultimate

renunciation, renouncing all the identities which

are unnecessary happening in you. Renunciation

is the ultimate purification process to live

enlightenment.

Q: ‘Dear Swamiji, why should one become neutral to physical needs?’

A: The why do not does not have answer.

When the spiritual evolution happens, when

spiritual powers are unfolding through your body,

becoming neutral to physical needs just happens.

As a flow of life this expresses naturally in you.

Q: ‘Isn’t the very creation of male and female and the senses also the gift of Existence?’

A: Existence provides everything including

poisons. It is up to you to use what you want and

live the way you want based on the goal you want

to reach and the purpose you feel as your life’s

mission.

Q: ‘While savoring the gift of Existence, can’t we achieve the same highest coherence that we can achieve through renunciation?’

A: Whether you savor or renounce, in the end,

only when the identities are renounced highest

is achieved. Even what you call as savoring, in

the end only when you are able to renounce the

identity, the base, ultimate is achieved. Whatever

you understand as savoring will not lead you to

the ultimate and whatever you understand as

savoring will not lead you to achieve the ultimate

truth. Whether you live with it or leave it, identity

needs to be dropped. Only when you renounce

the identity ultimate is achieved. If you can

renounce the identities, even if those things are

around you, you will achieve the ultimate. If you

can’t renounce the identity, even if you physically

move away from those things you may not be

able to achieve the ultimate. Finally everything

boils down to renouncing the identities.

Q: ‘What is a spiritual couple?’

A: There is no such thing as spiritual couple in

cosmic law. Spiritual means all alone by yourself.

Two spiritual beings does not make spiritual

couple. They only make two spiritual beings.

Q: ‘Swamiji pranam, which one is a true and real renunciation to be practiced – a) mental level renunciation b) physical or material renunciation?

A: If you are established in the material level, if

your mind identify itself constantly in material

level, material level renunciation also should be

practiced. If you are established only in mental

level, mental level renunciation is enough.

But mental level renunciation is necessary for

everyone. Material level renunciation can be

decided based on the level in which you are

established.

Renunciation is nothing but the ability to rejuvenate yourself continuously by dropping

the different identities you create for certain

purpose, but unfortunately associate yourself

with it, feel one with it. Renunciation is of different

levels; renouncing the external wealth which you

decide to possess and identify yourself with it,

renouncing the name and fame with which you

identify yourself and possess and feel as one with,

renouncing people with

which you identify yourself,

possess and feel one with,

renouncing the identities

which you possess and

identify yourself and feel

one with. Among these

renunciations, renouncing

the identity is the ultimate

renunciation.

Renunciation is the most intelligent

thing a living being can do because renunciation

continuously rejuvenates and creates a possibility

for higher expressions in your being. When the

highest expression happens, you cross the border

of renunciation and renunciation itself becomes

your very being. When your very core becomes

renunciation, the constant purification, a continuous

intelligence shining becomes your life.

Rahu is one of the navagrahas, one of the nine energy centers

(planets) of our solar system. Each graha in the heavens represents

a component of our cognition and karma in our inner world. It holds

a particular resonance in you as a power of your being.

Surya (the Sun) stands as the radiance of the Self which is

pure creativity as per its own intrinsic nature, it manifests your

world. Chandra (the Moon) being the fastest moving entity in the

sky, represents the fastest element in the body which is the mind.

Buddha (Mercury) stands for viveka (discrimination) and intellect.

Guru (Jupiter) is the principle of wisdom and knowledge, Shukra

(Venus) is love and creativity, Mangal (Mars) is action and Shani

(Saturn) is responsibility.

Unlike the above luminaries and planets, Rahu and Ketu

are lunar nodes which do not exist in the physical plane, but are in

fact shadows that influence the mind. They represent the points of

intersection of the paths of the Sun and the Moon as they move in

space. The eclipses occur when the Sun and the Moon are traveling

through these points. In the Vedic tradition it is believed that

eclipses take place when these planets are swallowed by the demon

Rahu. This is symbolic of the overwhelming of the mind that occurs

in particular periods - during Rahu transits or influence - and which

is swallowed by ignorance, unconsciousness and deceit.

According to the puranas, during the samudra manthan

(churning of the Milky ocean), Rahu became overwhelmed with the

desire for amrit (divine nectar) owned by the gods. He somehow

wanted to possess the amrit through inauthentic ways. He stood in

the line of the gods, got the nectar and drank it. The Sun and Moon

gods realized it and alerted Mohini (the female avatar of Vishnu)

about the same. Before the nectar could pass his throat, Mohini

cut off his head. The severed head however, remained immortal due

to the effect of the amrit and became known as Rahu, whereas its

body and tail became Ketu.

This story has a deeper significance. Rahu represents the ego

which desires immortality without the transformation. It holds the

mind in a strong grip and throws the individual consciousness into

suffering. The mind holds on to a pattern-based logic, perceiving it

as being the ultimate truth and treading the path of destruction.

Rahu represents one’s root pattern which creates a cause and effect reaction

(karma), which is not ready to complete itself and die - but is ever ready to create

chaos and contradictions, ultimately causing one to leave the Master believing it as a

fair decision! It can swallow spiritual knowledge and destroy the consciousness to prove

that the Master is wrong. Rahu stands for inauthenticity, lack of integrity, destruction,

anger, arrogance, greed, violence and chaos as well as morbid emotions, illegality,

obsession, crimes and addictions. Nithyananda explains, ‘When your inauthenticity

overwhelms you, when you give in to your inauthenticity, it causes irreparable damage

to you. When Rahu wins, it takes almost 12 years for you to break the pattern. If you

have the will to break the pattern, the pattern breaks.”

Rahu also stands for what one could not achieve in his or her past life. It stands

for a strong desire and attachment to things for which one took this birth and which

eventually become an obsession in this birth. Rahu tells you that you conquered most

of things in your past life, but whatever you didn’t conquer, you need to conquer that

in this life! It tells you that you want to conquer that particular thing in this life and

you won’t be satisfied until you get it. To understand where Rahu functions, Jyotishis

(astrologers) usually look into your horoscope and observe the bhava (the houses of

your birth chart) where it sits and which other grahas (planets) it aspects. Its location

in bhavas will influence a particular area of your life, like your perception of yourself,

your speech, money, family, creativity, health, relationships, sexuality, fear of death,

career, or even your perception of enlightenment!

Rahu will strive for the objects of its desires and accumulate them with a lack

of discernment, taking the person through the ups and downs of greedy attachments

and painful renunciations. Rahu declares: “Oh Existence, I want to be one with you, but

before being one with you, I also want this and this from you… give it to me first, only

then I’ll accept to be one with you and to flow in gratitude.” Rahu is discontentment

incarnate.

Understanding one’s root pattern (root patterns are root thought trends

people have, that makes them cognize life events and people a certain way) is the first

step towards aligning Rahu’s energy. It can be completely tamed through svapoornatva

(completion process for completing with yourself) and poornatva (completion process

practiced with others) techniques, surrendering to the Master and following the Guru

(Jupiter’s principle) in outer life. Guru tells us to live with integrity, authenticity,

responsibility, enrich one’s own self and others, not to give up on oneself and others

and to practice meditation and yoga and be in satsanga (Being with the higher truths).

Nithyananda has given many special meditation techniques and initiations

that reveal your root patterns, transform it and heal Rahu’s energy for you to gain

control over your life. These techniques are made available, shared and bolted in your

inner space through the incomparable Inner Awakening program, recommended to all

persons undergoing Rahu dashas (Rahu transits) as well as people wanting to gain

mastery over their unruly mind, emotions, lack of clarity, obsessions, failures settings,

depression, addictions to become masters of themselves!

Aries : May is particularly good for focusing on finances and properties since Venus sits in the wealth sector of you horoscope! 4 planets are interlinked in a strong

energy network, the time is ripe to work on improving your life at home and workplace. Concentrate on projects that add value to the society where you live. Enrich others through social and spiritual services, organize satsangs! You may feel a discrepancy between your mamakara (your idea about yourself) and what you project to others, and both of them conflicting with what they expect from you. Avoid being torn between your identities. Observe what it is inside you that does not allow you to stretch yourself to their expectations. Something inside is not willing to do so!

Taurus: Be authentic with your emotions: anger, lust, jealousy, love, feeling of solitude, fear of losing control over life, hanging on to your identity and patterns. Ride the peaks and valleys of the waves of

emotions. With any particular emotion, just see the whole thing consciously. When you are filled with a desire, your whole being vibrates with that desire. When you come in contact with the object of your desire, the excitement manifests itself to its peak, then suddenly you fall to the valley. When you feel a desire, either through lust, anger or greed, just be with it, and enjoy

it intensely. Go through the whole experience physically. This period rewards you with deep transformation.

Gemini: You are worthy of whatever you have. If you fear that whatever you have can be taken away from you, then you’ll be living in fear forever. Your mistrust will then become a curse

you inflict upon yourself. Know that you are worthy of the state of consciousness you are in now, and things are perfect as they are. When you relax and settle into your deep connection to the unchanging reality then you start experiencing a new dimension of yourself. Once you feel connected to the Master or to the formless energy, you start knowing as a solid experience, that you are qualified for whatever is around you. Brahmanyam Bahuputratam (I am the favourite inheritor of the cosmos)!

Cancer: May will encourage you to connect to others, to be with the sangha and inspire your friends, to continue to expand and grow in enrichment. You

have lots of ideas about the future; you are planting the seeds of new projects that will reap rewards in the future. Through sharing and enriching yourself and others through your local community and social networks, you are sure to come up with new ideas and be inspired. Keep your eyes open for directions and solutions. Your creativity can contribute

to a collective project this month. Let you help others’ projects also, as you handle your practical responsibilities to your optimum abilities!

Leo: May can potentially reward you with inner and outer expansion in the responsibilities you took up, and bring recognition on a professional level. Tap into this new inspiration which comes

from inside you and choose your projects carefully and with integrity towards what you stand for. Take more than you can handle, it’s time to challenge yourself and push your limits way ahead. Your efforts are giving fruits, in the sense that you are heading towards a position that really suits you better than ever before. Take care of completing a relationship with a parent, a colleague or close associate through the poornatva technique.

Virgo: You carry a deep blissful awareness of the present moment. It is time to enjoy the benefits of the teachings you have heard and practiced. Learn

as much as you can now, in preparation for the next stage that will take your career forward. Take up any new experiences that teach you about life: travel, adventures, and contacts with people of a completely different culture than yours. Have you thought about attending Inner Awakening (www.innerawakening.

org) ? If not, then think about it! This period is especially enriching for you on the spiritual level.

Libra: Your personal life is expanding, and brings bliss and contentment to you.

May is auspicious for transformation, it will happen through the power of the four tattvas (guiding principles). It is an empowerment for you. You will find opportunities to find financial or psychological support for your projects, you may inherit something valuable. Remember to look into sharing your resources, talents, inspiration, and your wisdom with your associates, which will improve many situations around you.

Scorpio: Your abilities to relate with others, to negotiate and to lead continue to grow. You

have plenty of opportunities to bring fresh impulse and energy to an existing relationship. Your readiness to get along and work with others is enhanced as you are more willing to compromise and to stretch yourself to others’ anyakara. Improving your social life is very much in your heart. You will find plenty of opportunities to communicate with someone important in your life, to do poornatvas in a very enriching way. You learn a lot through your experiences and interactions with a close relation.

over and over again, anaLyze the words you utter about wealth. I have seen that many times, you start enjoying poverty because of the self-pity it brings you.

one of the important Lessons you need to learn is that integrity creates wealth. You think only people without integrity get wealth. You say that you don’t have wealth because you practice integrity. You are wrong! Only people with integrity will be able to have wealth and celebrate it. When you make money without integrity, you will never be able to live with it.

What is Your Relationship With Wealth?

with integrity, you wiLL aLso build the right relationship with wealth. If you look within, you will realize that sometimes, if there is any wealthy person in your life who is arrogant, you feel it is the wealth that made him this way. This is how you end up hating wealth. So you start living without wealth because you are afraid that wealth will make you arrogant too.

if someone chooses to be arrogant, he will find a way to express it. If he isn’t wealthy, he will use his youth or even his poverty to turn arrogant. With wealthy people, because they have had a lot of experience with the society and have been beaten up by the society, atleast they are polite and polished. But these so-called poor people are so arrogant, they demand a hundred times more than what they can take responsibility for, and then they say, ‘Because I am poor, you are not ready to give me this.’

Being Poor is Not Right!

some time when you were young, you started believing that to be in poverty means to be right. Wealthy

Poverty is Not a Virtue!Adapted from Paramahamsa Nithyananda's teachings

people are frauds and liars. They have cheated others and have accumulated their wealth. The “have-nots” have a deep hatred for the "haves”, and constantly spread rumours about them. Even if a rich man is your closest friend and you know that he has done nothing illegal to accumulate his wealth, you enjoy these rumours so that you can justify why you don’t have what he has. You do not want to accept that he took responsibility for his life and you did not take responsibility for yours. The people who carry a deep hatred for the “haves” neither take the responsibility to create wealth, nor allow the ones who have taken the responsibility to enjoy their wealth peacefully. This is called “poverty consciousness”.

Take the Responsibility for Wealth!

you have the greed for wealth, but you have not taken the responsibility to create it. So you give many valid reasons for why you don't have wealth. You follow the concept of "work not done plus valid reason is equivalent to work done". This is called a slave mentality. Your inauthenticity adds even sacredness to your poverty. You believe that you are too spiritual to create wealth. If that is the case, why do you have to brag about your poverty? You create an identity around your poverty and brag about it in the same way that wealthy people create an identity around their wealth. This is the worst kind of identity that you can create, and it is just as bad as cheating and destroying others' wealth.

buiLd weaLth based on your ability to create and maintain. Anything which is an extension of your personality is your muscle. Anything which is forced on you from the outside is cancer. I know the power of Lakshmi. When you are able to create and maintain, when you have respect for her and for the wealth, nobody can snatch it away from you. It is an extension of your personality.
