Jayme and Lindsay Odegaard brought their son, Ash Robert to meet his great grandmother, Delores Odegaard a week ago Monday. Judy Odegaard came over for a visit and met Ash. Rod and Linda Anderson spent the weekend in Mandan visiting Mike Anderson and got to visit with Darlene Anderson in person who is a resident of Edgewood Vista in Mandan! She is doing well but misses her home in Tioga! We all got together with Peggy and Gary Anderson and Joel for supper out! It was a great weekend to be with Mom Anderson and the Anderson’s who live in Mandan and Bismarck! Gracie Davidson spent the weekend with her grandma, Kelly Gleave. Delores Odegaard was among the guests at Pat and Haley Al- berts on Sunday. Ray Visitors this past week at Char Hodenfield’s were Lynette Wheeler, Carla Hodenfield, Cheryl Forhart and Kim Longie of Tioga. Rick and Jennifer Kessner were Saturday afternoon visi- tors of Walt and Karel Johnson. Denise Weyrauch and Deanna Donnelly had lunch on Sunday at Haley Donnelly’s apartment in honor of Denise’s birthday. McGregor Angus, Alayna, Odin, Lily and Liam Wolla spent the weekend with their grandparents, Dar- ren and Joan Gohrick. Paige Gohrick stopped by for a visit. Hager, 57, of Bat- tleview, passed away in Fargo, Friday, September 25, 2020. His memorial service was held Saturday, October 3, 2020, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Powers Lake. Pastor Kayla Hill officiated. Glen Charles Sebastian was born December 3, 1962, in Minot, to James and Leona (Boucher) Hager. He was bap- tized in December, 1962, at St. Leo’s Catholic Church, Minot. He attended school in Minot. Early on, he worked as a cook at various places in Minot and worked for Pietsch Signs. Eventually, he moved to Bat- tleview, where he met the love of his life, Kristi Schroeder. They dated for many years before they were united in marriage November 23, 1990. On April 28, 1999, their son, Matthew, joined this union. They continued to make their home in Battleview. Glen worked at Ron’s Sand- blasting in Tioga, for several years. Eventually, he went to work with his good friend Jerry Imsland at Northwest Roust- about in McGregor, where he worked for over a decade. In 2016, Glen began work as a field supervisor for Condor Pe- troleum, where he worked un- til his passing. Everywhere he worked, especially in his later years, he was known as a bril- liant and extremely hard work- er, who enjoyed what he did and never took a day off. Glen and Kristi enjoyed watching Matthew play sports and were so very proud of all his accomplishments. As a fam- ily, they enjoyed fishing and camping together. Glen enjoyed playing in a pool league for years and visiting with family and friends. He loved to antago- nize his family and friends in a loving way. He had a quick wit about him, and it was always on show. He will be forever loved and missed by everyone who knew him. Glen is survived by son Mat- thew (Abby Kurtz), Fargo; brothers James Hager Jr., San Jose, California, Dave Hager and Andy Hager, Minot; sister Ange- la Hager, Minot; brothers-in-law Jody (Amy) Schroeder, Powers Lake; Loren Reinholdt, Ray, and Kevin Hollingsworth, Gresham, Oregon. Glen is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cous- ins, and very special friends Susan and Jerry Imsland of Mc- Gregor, Kim Rodin, Kenmare, and Deb Gabel, Minot. He attend- ed grades 1st through 8th at Hillier School and completed his high school years at Tioga High School, graduating in 1957. Following high school, La- Verne attended NDSSS college in Wahpeton, studying automo- tive technology and welding. While living in Wahpeton he met Barbara Olson of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. They united in marriage July 5th, 1960. La- Verne and Barb made their home on a farm south of Tioga in Dryfork Township, where he farmed and ranched. Together they had three children; Lorne, Barry and Anita. Besides farming and ranch- ing, LaVerne also worked for KBM Well Service, Lawrence Transportation, he owned/ operated his semi working for Greytech and Harris road con- struction. He would haul almost anything as well but favored hauling cattle. That was a good excuse to stop in at the Sitting Bull Auction café! LaVerne met Donna Brodahl through many Sons of Norway activities. After dating for a couple of years they joined in a religious partnership March 2004, making their home in Tio- ga. In late 2015 health concerns brought LaVerne to reside in the Tioga Long Term Care Unit. LaVerne was an avid card player. He enjoyed music and dancing as well. There tended to be some singing along in- volved too! Some of his favorite past times were Norsk Hostfest and the Frozen Finger Festival. He was a proud member of Trinity Lutheran Church, White Earth Valley Saddle Club, Sons of Norway, Tioga Senior Center and The Moose. LaVerne is survived by chil- dren, Lorne Ramberg, Barry (Melissa) Ramberg, Tioga, Anita (Scott) Pease, Burlington; grand- children, Amanda (Shawn) Mar- tin, Williston, Stephanie (Kyle) Ramberg, Grace Ramberg, Trey (Madison) Ramberg, Tioga, Kayla (Jace) Lalim, White Earth, Brianne (Richard) Welsch, Watauga, South Dakota, Scotti Pease, Grayson Pease and Sadie Pease, Burlington; great-grand- children, Braylon and Remi Mc- Intyre, Tioga, Weston, Marli and Bobbi Lalim, White Earth, Ka- cie, Morgan and Holden Welsch of Watauga, South Dakota, sis- ter LaVonne (Leon) Wedar, Mi- not; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Faith caught rheu- matic fever as a child, so spent many years home-schooled, and only went through 8th grade. Faith met the love of her life, James Martinson, and mar- ried him after two months of dating on December 4, 1961. They spent 57 years together before James passing in 2018. To their union, Faith and James welcomed three sons, Leroy, Ronald, and Rick; and their daughter, Vickie. They also had a daughter lost shortly after birth, Kimberly, in 1968. Faith worked the majority of her life working as a nurse’s aide at the Tioga Medical Cen- ter, working there for close to 40 years before retiring. Faith and James then moved to Fargo to be near to Vickie in 2012, and lived there for five years before returning to the area they had called home for so many years. Faith enjoyed all the time she spent with her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was lovingly referred to as “old grandma” by her young- est great-grandsons. Faith also enjoyed bingo, and spent many long nights playing while James waited patiently for her. She also spent many hours embroi- dering and has many beautiful pieces that we will cherish. Faith is survived by sons, Le- Roy Martinson, Minot; Rick Mar- tinson, Tioga; and her daughter Vickie (Casey) Wanzek, Tioga. Her grandchildren, Keith (Crys- tal) Mattox, and Kevin (Leah) Mattox, Ray; Daniel Martinson, Conrad, Montana; Christ Mar- tinson, Minot; Sara Martinson, Williston; Ronald Martinson Jr, Jamestown; and Penny (Devin) Kliem, Medina; great-grandchil- dren, Dalys, Kendra, Allayana, Hailey, Nolyn, and Ryker Mat- tox, all of Ray; Conner and Tai- cen Martinson, Jamestown; Da- kota Martinson, Streeter; and Dustin Stabnow, South Dakota; sister Rose Kalabza, West Far- go, and her special niece, Susie Sigloh, Williston; and four step- grandchildren. Glen C. Hager, 57, of Bat-tleview, passed away in Fargo, Friday, September 25, 2020.

His memorial service was held Saturday, October 3, 2020, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Powers Lake. Pastor Kayla Hill officiated.

Glen Charles Sebastian was born December 3, 1962, in Minot, to James and Leona (Boucher) Hager. He was bap-tized in December, 1962, at St. Leo’s Catholic Church, Minot. He attended school in Minot. Early on, he worked as a cook at various places in Minot and worked for Pietsch Signs.

Eventually, he moved to Bat-tleview, where he met the love of his life, Kristi Schroeder. They dated for many years before they were united in marriage November 23, 1990. On April 28, 1999, their son, Matthew, joined this union. They continued to make their home in Battleview.

LaVerne Arnold Ramberg, 81, Tioga passed away Tuesday, September 29, at Tioga Long Term Care Unit.

Notice of Annual MeetingOut of respect for national and state guidelines on social

distancing, the annual meeting for the members of United Quality Cooperative that was scheduled for October 23, 2020 has been postponed.

The 2020 annual meeting will be held in conjunction with the 2021 annual meeting. The board of directors will have their term extended for one year.
