On 25 th May 2013 we are proud to be hosting the world’s first 'Classic Computer Colloquium'. On display and offered at auction will be some spectacular classics of computer history: 'Apple 1' (one of only six known working examples), 'Apple 2' and 'Apple-Lisa 1', as well as the extremely scarce 'Scelbi 8H', 1973, of which only 3 examples are known. A rare and important historical calculator, the 'Busicom 141-PF' of 1971, with the first 'Intel 4004' micro-proces- sor, will also be on offer. In the category of computing and cryptography, an 'MITS Altair 8800' (12.300 / US$ 16,000) and the 3-rotor Enigma ciphering machine (82.000 / US$ 106,000) also fetched top prices in 2012. Collector’s items in other fields achieved record prices too, amongst them a miniature phonograph prototype by 'Casimir Sivan' of 1892 for 11.000 / US$ 14,300 and the very rare original Symphonion 'Gambrinus' musical box for 17.200 / US$ 22,400. A particular highlight was a collection of French automata, which drew interna- tional interest thanks to our famous active marketing through spe- cially filmed videos, articles and magazine covers created expressly by us. Bright Perspectives for 2013!Last we celebrated our 25th jubilee and 124th specialist auction with many outstanding results and several record breaking prices. We are looking forward to welcoming old friends and customers to an equal-ly exciting 2013 auction season!

Our worldwide advertising campaigns (which included an illumi-nated advert in New York’s Times Square and press reports in ten dif-ferent languages!) ensured a new record price of almost € 500.000 / US$ 640,000 for an 'Apple 1 Computer' from 1976.

On 25th May 2013 we are proud to be hosting the world’s fi rst 'Classic Computer Colloquium'.
