THE CONTENT AT A GLANCE

Target audience: young workers

Developed exclusively by CCR CSR, five people share their stories of career progression.

Told through intimate photos and first-person narrative, these stories aim to give hope and inspiration to the millions of factory workers struggling to see brighter futures.

Target audience: migrant parent workers

CCR CSR partnered with UNICEF to adapt their Early Childhood Development (ECD) content for the WeSupport platform. Many migrant parent workers lack access to credible sources of information about ECD and these lessons fill that gap. It includes:

• Videos on nutrition, health and safety

• Lessons on nutrition and disease prevention

• Quizzes on health and safety

Target audience: migrant parent workers, line managers and young workers

Developed exclusively by CCR CSR based on tried-and-tested training materials, lessons are told through an attractive, easy-to-digest medium. A series of cartoon lessons have been developed for each of the three target groups with lesson topics ranging from parenting and distant communication, conflict management and good management to stress management, career development and more.

Also includes carefully selected articles from third party sources, comics, holiday specials, lucky draws etc.

General WeSupport use

“Recently, I read some contents on the WeSupport platform about effective listening and some “tricks” about different ways to ask questions. I really tried to “experiment” with these tricks whenever I talked to my son… and I think slowly but surely, he is more willing to talk to me,” Li Mei, 37-year-old factory worker whose 11 year-old son lives with the grandparents in the hometown.

“I got inspired by the WeSupport lesson ‘how to be a good line-manager’… Now whenever I find any conflicts among workers, I try to be a mediator. I talk to all sides and encourage them to communicate with each other to deal with any misunderstandings…” Yang Feng, a 27-year-old line manager in charge of 30 workers.

““We are too busy to learn parenting knowledge systematically, but whenever and wherever we are free, even if it’s just for 5 minutes, we click on WeChat and learn some practical modern parenting skills.” A 31-year-old mother, with a four-year-old child from Chongqing.
