• NDFD has been operational since 2004• Domains include:

• CONUS• OCONUS (AK, HI, Guam, PR/V.I.)• 16 sub-sectors

• Implemented experimental Wind Gust grids (9/6/06)• Split NDFD Files (Days 1-3 and 4-7) (9/6/06)• Implemented six experimental grids for Alaska (9/6/06)• Implemented experimental QPF grids for Hawaii (11/1/06)• Conducted NDFD Technical Workshop (11/2/06)• Adjusted time NDFD is extended 24 hours to 22Z (11/28/06)• Transitioned XML Web Service to operational status (12/4/06)
