Zamak

Nobex is long specialized in the manufacturing of zamak anchors. Zamak is an alloy of aluminium, copper and zinc, made in 3 different kinds, including small percentage of magnesium, whose main features are:- high tensile strength;- high impact resistance;- exceptional resistance to corrosion (does not rust);- maintenance of dimensional tolerance.The kind normally used for anchors manufacturing is zamak 15, which virtually brings together all these components. The essential element for zamak is aluminium, because:- increases the fluidity of the metal into the mould;- improves the properties of mechanical resistance; - inhibits the electrochemical attack, in case of contact with ferrous materials.The exceptional resistance to corrosion makes the zamak to be widely used in chemical industry (excellent resistance to liquid fuels and lubricants, inks, alcohol, coal gas), food (water and steam without problems, with caution for foodstuffs) and in construction and public works, often preferred to stainless steel for price reasons.Following the ever increasing market demand, Nobex manufactures 3 different zamak anchors: HPM for heavy fixings, SPZ suitable for applications on plasterboard and TZB hammer plug for universal medium-light fixings.Zamak therefore means HIGH PERFORMANCE WITH LOW COSTS.

Nylon

Nylon is a family of synthetic polymers developed in 1935. It is a resilient material and shows excellent wear resistance and high elastic recovery, is self-extinguishing, absorbs and gives wate keeping its structure intact and in equilibrium and that means it can be used both inside and outside. Nylon is ease to dyeing and shows good colour fastness. Nobex manufactures several first choice nylon plugs, from the universal ones to the hammer ones till the long ones, with a wide range of accessories, used in many fields such as construction, electrical and thermoidraulics. Nobex moreover always follows its customers’ needs, providing several different kinds of packaging, starting from the counter display with common little boxes till bulk packaging.

The Group

Since January 2009 Nobex has joined the Carpaneto Sati Group, market leader in Italy in the industrial electrical field.The headquarter in Rivoli - Cascine Vica (To) - Via Ferrero 10, is the seat of the group leader Carpaneto & C. S.p.A. as well as all the administrative seats of the other commercial and industrial companies placed on the Italian territory and precisely in Siziano (Pavia, 15 kilometres south of Milan), Padova, Latina, and Napoli.Moreover the Group get shareholdings and controls companies in France (Saint Laurent du Var - Nice) and in Tunisia.
