You Responded!

You Know You’re a Non-Trad

When….

...you’re Googling what other

people are abbreviating in

text messages.

...you ride a motorcycle 45

minutes to school and back

three days a week. Sometimes

it’s tough holding a pencil

after a 30 degree morning

ride.

...during a conversation with a

store clerk I say “I moved to

Cortland for school” and he

asks “What do you teach?”

...you were born before the

history lesson.

...you’re disqualified from

answering Dr. Ducey’s “What

classic rock group is this?”

question he asks before every

lecture because you were

actually alive when the songs

were hits.

...you walk into a classroom

and the students say “Good

morning, Sir!”

…”going out” means grocery

shopping.

Non-Trads Rock! T-Shirts

The Non-Traditional Student Organization has a FREE t-shirt for

you! Stop by our lunch on Tuesday, May 3, to receive one. You

can also pick one up in the Advisement and Transition office in

Memorial Library, Room A-111. T-shirts are available in sizes S-3X.

“Non-Trad Students Kickin’ Cancer” Team Update

The “Non-Trad Students Kickin’

Cancer” team raised $855 for the

American Cancer Society and SUNY

Cortland’s Relay for Life. Team

members included Tammy Anderson,

Cheryl Hines, Sheryl and Jim Holbrook.

The Relay was held overnight on

Saturday, April 23, in the Park Center

Alumni Ice Arena.

It may have been a small team but did a great job in

fundraising. The team placed 6th out of 30 teams!

Thank your for all of your support and donations.

Be spotted wearing your new t-shirt

between May 4-6 and you could win a

small prize!
