Arts For The Schools was founded in 1984 to address the decline in arts education, which was, and continues to be, one of the consequences of ongoing education budget cuts. For 31 years Arts For The Schools has encouraged students to create, perform, learn, lead, understand and discover. Arts For The Schools fills the gap in visual and performing arts education for more than 10,000 children at K-12 schools, and provides access to performing arts excellence for the public spanning from Incline Village, NV to Truckee, CA.
