The NSU Honors College provides an exciting living and learning community dedicated to maximizing your college experience. We offer enhanced academic classes, leadership training and special programming for students in all majors. Renewable scholarships are available while funds last.
Who qualifies? Incoming freshmen need a 3.0 or better GPA from high school, plus a 1450 (Math, Verbal + Writing) SAT for our Parsons General Honors Track; incoming freshmen need a 3.2 or better GPA plus a 1500 (Math, Verbal + Writing) SAT for our Dozoretz National Institute for Mathematics and Applied Sciences Track. Transfers and continuing NSU students may also apply. Ask about our new Discipline-Specific Honors Programs Track, as well

Babbette B. Smith Hall-North, a freshmen female residence hall, was built in 1970 and is named in honor of Babbette B. Smith, a former university donor. Babbette B. Smith Hall-North features an air-conditioned lobby area where students can relax. It also has laundry facilities and a computer lab with Internet and word processing capabilities.
