North Texas (Dallas) Fall Trip, October 29, 2006
North Texas Section Presi-dent Andrea Hansen organ-ized this autumn trip to East Texas. We met in the parking lot of the Dairy Queen next to the Cotton Gin Restaurant in Crandall (it really was a cot-ton gin prior to becoming a restaurant). Our trip took us
on two-lane roads through Seven Points, Cedar Creek Lake, Gun Barrel City, Wills Point, Lake Tawakoni, Quinlan and then Rockwall. We stopped for a great Mexican lunch at Poblanos in East Tawakoni. Our Fort Worth and North Texas (Dallas) sections encourage mem-bers from all over the Metroplex (and from all other sections) to at-tend each other’s events. This means twice the variety, twice the fun, and twice the friendship. This will help assure maximum enjoyment from your MBCA membership which entitles you to attend any MBCA event regardless of which section you belong to.
