Article I
The name of this club is The North Valleys League Club. eSports comprises the
competitive play of video games, with emphasis on real time strategy on the
multiplayer online battle arena genre. (MOBA) The scene is recognized and supported
worldwide by hundreds of organizations, businesses, and schools. League Of Legendsis a spectator sport with viewership in the millions as well as being a hobby, which is
taken up by over 100 million people worldwide. Professional League of Legends and
StarCraft II players are also recognized by the United States Government as
international athletes, and given athletic visas.
Article II
The North Valleys High School League Club exists NOT to create an excuse to playvideo games in a school environment, but rather to introduce people to one of thefastest growing recreational activities in the world. We will work to encourage the
students of North Valleys to participate and engage them in a n organization that isunconventional and different from the norm. Building character in students by
introducing perseverance, teamwork, and decision-making. We will hope to create afriendly environment for everyone to come and experience a new

Maturity and common sense are the only prerequisites to becoming members of the
Club community. Eligibilities in terms of game sense and knowledge may be required
to join teams.
No club dues are necessary; donations are accepted.

Duties and Responsibilities
President: The president is responsible for being an effective leader and role model. He
or she is obligated to maintain the status quo of the club, as well as introducingchanges to the club as deemed necessary. The president also runs the task of
coordinating events and club meetings. The president is expected to constantlycommunicate with other board members and keep them on task. The president is first
in command.
Vice President: The vice president is responsible for keeping the president in check,aiding the president in event coordination, gathering feedback from club members,
and taking up tasks that other board members are unable to do. The vice president is
second in command.
Secretary: The secretary is responsible for most of the paperwork that is required for
administration. These include weekly meeting reports, event request forms, eventrelease and liability forms, etc. He or she should therefore be organized and proper.
The secretary is third in command.
Treasurer: The treasurer is the manager of all funds. He or she is responsible for giving
the president a report at least bi-monthly that indicates the state of the treasury. All
transactions, including donations, club dues, and purchases must be cataloged by the
treasurer and included in his or her report. The treasurer must be familiar with
spreadsheet software. The treasurer is fourth in command.
Publicist: The publicist is responsible for notifying members of events, meetings, andpoints of interest as well as spreading publicity both on campus and off campus. Duties
include e-mailing members, using social media, posting on Internet forums, and
contacting local organizations. The publicist must be responsible for deadlines and
should have good social skills.
Article VII
1) (Computer usage to be determined)
2) Usage of personal computers is allowed except for inappropriate use that may besubject to legal punishment.
3) Members flagrantly disrupting the club environment will be asked to leave.
4) All campus rules apply to that of the North Valleys League Club.
5) Members that break club rules are subject to punishment judged by the president
and vice president.

6) Amendments may be made to the existing constitution by submitting them to club
officers and the club advisor. With approval by all board members and a two-thirds
majority vote by all club members, the amendment may be made to the constitution.
