Treasurer's Report: given by CR. - Checking: $4,009.43 - Motion to approve CHI LM - approved. - CD: $10,000.00 - CR and VB met at Northwest Bank on Pittsburgh Ave, West Erie Plaza on 1112 to transfer signatures to VB and DB. Until DB signs and CR returns the papers to the bank, CR and TH are still the names on the accounts. - CR will orient VB to the treasurer's position at a future date - CR will pay AANP Group membership fee (Annual membership expo 2/28/15) - CR will contact the Internal Revenue Service [re: IRC 501 (c)(6)status] to report new contact information, VB, Secretary- Treasurer. 4. 5. Care for Pennsylvania Campaign: Discussion regarding thereintroduction of the 2013~2014 Senate Bill 1063, which never got out ofcommittee. Bill regarding Full Practice Authority for NPs.

-DB and Ann Schlimm are the Campaign Coordinators for our region andwill participate in the first conference call on 1/28/15. New1revisedlegislation to be introduced in both the PA House (Reps Jesse Topper andThomas Murt) and Senate (Senator Pat Vance). Wait to speak to your localreps until the new bills are written and we have the bill numbers forreference.

-DB is making plans to have several members meet with local State Reps.

6. Regional Rep. report. Given by TH (see attached)

* Members who successfully recruit new member to PCNPreceive achance to win a free registration to the PCNPAnnual Conference.

7. Lobby Day May 12,2015. SAVETHE DATE. Meet in Harrisburg 0800;Rally 0900; Pre-arrange appointment with your legislators to meet afterthe rally.

-DB will send out date by email and Twitter in order to getresponses1commitments from membership and attempt to coordinatecarpool or rent a van. PCNPis planning to have a block of rooms so thatwe can go the night before.

8. National AANP Conference: June 9-14 New Orleans. One boardmember, executive staff member or NP program director can receive acomplimentary registration for the conference. Who will attend?

-DB is already planning to attend as he won a registration by virtue of hisrecent award from AANP: The NP State Award for Excellence, which isgiven annually to an individual NP in each state who has demonstratedexcellence in NP clinical practice. Congratulations, Don!

9. Bylaws-VB will acquire current digital copy from CR, post to PCNPwebsite and forward to DB. DB will solicit comments from membershipfor revision. Discussion to follow at next meeting.

10. Spring Conference: Committee DB, CH, JR, LM, CH and others. We aresponsoring this in conjunction with NPASP,see below.

-Registration is $65. Maximum about 150 attendees/venue. Breakfast andLunch provided.

-JR has set up a Google account ([email protected]) and a PayPalaccount, linked to our checking account, so that people can register withcredit card. (Cost to us is 2.9% plus $0.30 per registration). This will beavailable also for future events, no recurring cost.

-DB will reach out to Mary Jo Cerepani of NPASPto do mailing to all NPsand contact students.

-Vendors welcome. Protocol not yet established.

-Plan is to raffle our free registration for the PCNPfall conference (Wewon this at Nov 2014 conference by getting the most tickets from peopletrying to win the IPADwe donated to the Chinese Auction)

Coalition Representative Report

PCNP Board meeting 1/10/15

Treasurer Report: Julia Roussos

• Net Conference Profit $87,000,

• 2014 Budget on target did not need to take anything from savings

• Finance committee looking into investing 50,000 to 100,000

President Report: Lorraine Bock

• Weekly conference call with Committee leaders and officers, will send out minutes on a monthly

basis on PCNP website to keep members informed on board activities

• 2014 Conference 575 Attendees, $10,098 raised with PAC baskets (NPNPA sold the most)

• Each member who brings a new member in will have their name placed in a drawing for a paidregistration to the state conference.

• Brochures may use old ones, will update in the future, ? donation from regional groups

• Membership list will be sent out to each regional group between the 1st and the is" of every

month

Chief Executive Officer Report: Sue Schrand

• SB 1063 didn't make it out of committee, revising language to strengthen case for direct

reimbursement and to add ACA non-discrimination language. Senator Vance has agreed to re-

introduce the bill and Rep Topper will sponsor a companion bill in the House.

• Regulatory issue, working with PA Homecare Association on changes with DOH. They cannot

accept an NP's orders at this time. This will effect non-Medicare/Medicaid patients only

• Care for PA continuing campaign

• PCNP membership 1508, statewide 9477 NP's

• Strategic Planning: 3 proposals received. Reviewed at meeting, board members voted to retain

• Strategic Program Communication Program: Sue Schrand and Lorraine Bock

• Sue is running for region 3 director of AANP, be sure to vote for her!

Legislative Report

• Reviewed current and new members in the legislature

• Session schedule was provided

• Lobby Day 5/12/15 meet at 8 am to review talking points, rally at 9 am then meetings with

members

• November, December and January meeting were summarized
