Nostalgia
The past keeps a strong hold in our minds. Inevitable as our fragile existence turns vivid in the faded images of people we never met. The nagging thought of becoming those faded hints, ghosts in a
distant a=ernoon, dreams within dreams. The past is also comfort like the shade of a family tree, or the discovery of ancestors in our common aspira?ons. This can be found in a house in the
Hollywood Hills, for instance, preserved without the present meddling in, or with a girl who makes herself into a statement of yesterday colliding with today. Our footprint of dreams is there to be
discovered, celebrated, blended into our own crea?ve world. It is up to us to open our eyes and see what we make of these songs of humanity, their promises can haunts us and console us. Ignore
them is not an op?on but a nega?on of life. I rather make them a celebra?on of mine.
