Find Your Road To Success Meet Four Students Who Found Four Different Roads To Success!Vinod Mahato – Road To Success: College Transfer Degree
A native of Nepal, Vinod served as an Ambassador at RCC, where he had the
opportunity to both get an education and experience American culture.
After RCC, he transferred to NC State University to purse a BS in Accounting
and minor in Finance.
Laura Shumate – Road To Success: Early College High School
Laura graduated in May with both a high school diploma and an Associate in
Arts degree. She entered UNC-Greensboro as a junior, saving herself two full
years of college costs, and is pursuing a degree in speech language pathology.
Heather Hawkins – Road To Success: High School Equivalency Diploma
After earning her High School Equivalency Diploma this spring, Heather is now
pursuing an Associate in Arts degree at RCC. And once she’s completed that,
she plans to transfer to Liberty University and earn a bachelor’s degree!
Amber Workman – Road To Success: Associate in Applied Science Degree
After graduating Morehead High School, Amber came to RCC to study
computer science. But she changed direction after discovering her true passion,
and will graduate next May with an AAS in Electronics Engineering Technology.
