“How could dad do this to me,” he mumbled to himself. “I have my homework and project work too!”He worked hard all through the weekend. Sunday evening, Sandy was a rich boy with ` 175 in his pocket.“Sandy what will you do with this money? Why don’t you take us out for a movie? With ` 175 you can take us to Radha theatre, it is quite economical,” asked his mother. At this Sandy exclaimed, “Mom this is my hard-earned money! I can’t spend it like that. I promise I’ll take you in the coming month when I’ll have more money.”

But, that night Sandy couldn’t help thinking. Yes! He had learned the value of money because he had realised that it was hard to earn.He decided to spend his pocket money judiciously. Next morning, he left his hard-earned money at home and happily ate the delicious paratha, paneer rolls etc. his mom had prepared with so much love.
