(3 divisions – children; youth and adults with a grand prize winner). - August 31: Derby Race, 6—8pm in the FLC. Come cheer on your favorite car! Pastoral Care Associates (PCA) is a volunteer ministry that partners with the pastoral staff in showing love and encouragement to individuals in our local hospitals. PCAs select one day per month to assist. RSVP to church office or thru a communication card for one of those dates. The Lighthouse Cafe is "hiring"! Wanted: Individuals, in high school or older (2 or more), with great customer service able to work in a fast paced environment. - Must be able to be on your feet, continuously moving for at least an hour. - Ability to multi-task is a plus. - Must be comfortable handling money and willing to learn to use a cash register. - Hours needed: 5:15 - 6:30pm, every Wednesday night starting Sept. 7th, throughout the school year. - A rotating schedule will be set up if enough people volunteer.
