Notice Inviting Quotation

N. I. Q. No. – 24 of 2015 - 2016 of General Manager [Engg.] - II, WBHIDCO

Sealed quotations are hereby invited by WBHIDCO from Artisians, Welfare Organizations, NGO or other Organizations having experience in similar nature of job of organizing and managing similar event as described below. Quotation papers are to be dropped in the Quotation / Tender Box kept in the office of the General Manager (Engg.) – II, WBHIDCO and will be opened by him or his authorized representative in presence of the quotationers or their authorized representative, as per the time schedule given below. Intending/quotationers must declare in his/their application if there is any other firm/firms in which he/they are partner/director and have common identical interest failing which the quotation will be cancelled. Intending quotationers are to apply for participating in the quotation with valid I. T., P. T. & VAT certificate. Scope of Work – WBHIDCO will organize one LOKOTIRTHA Festival at Eco Urban Village where lots of traditional & colloquial activities like Lokogan, Lokonrittyo, Lokobaddyo, traditional food, traditional sports and lots of fun items will be there. Such festival will start from 1st April 2016 (Friday) and remain up to 3rd April 2016 (Sunday). There will be morning session and also the evening session during this LOKOTIRTHA Festival. In the morning session there will be mainly sports item and sports competition among the participants who are preferably from nearby residential areas. The evening session will start from 4:00 P.M. and will continue up to 8:00 P.M. In the evening session there will be some traditional cultural programmes like Baul, Dhamsa Baddyo, Chou Dance, Adibasi Dance, Ranpa Dance, Puppet Play etc. Besides these functions, there will be some food stalls for public to relish the traditional foods. To give a complete shape of the above described Festival, in all respect, the qualified bidder will take all necessary actions to organize the festival as per the item of work has been laid down in the Schedule of Item in ANNEXURE – “A”. As such the selected bidder i.e., the implementing agency will arrange for necessary decoration, lighting, sound system arrangement, tea & tiffin for the participants. The agency will take care of all necessary advertisement or propaganda for the festival including press and media. Necessary theme decoration with colourful flags, shamiyana and other decoration will be also done by the agency. The agency will bring the Artists and arrange to perform for Chou Dance, Adibasi Dance, Ranpa Dance, Baul, Dhamsa Baddyo, Puppet Play etc. along with their transport and fees. The agency will also take action for arranging cultural function by Artists for renowned traditional and colloquial song and make payment to the artists, their transportation, fooding etc. The bidders will quote their rates, inclusive of all taxes, considering the factors mentioned above. 01. Terms and Condition : -

01. The quotationers will quote their rates inclusive of all taxes in the quotation paper as

enclosed in ANNEXURE – “A”.

02. Statutory deduction towards Sales Tax, Income Tax, VAT etc. will be deducted as will be applicable in the instant case.

03. The selected bidder will have to enter into an agreement in Rupees 100 Non Judicial Stamp Paper which is to be had from the Vendor.

04. Contractor shall have to arrange all materials required for the job. No materials will be issued by the Department.

05. After successful completion of the work and expiry of the period mentioned as would be directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, Bill in triplicate is to be produced for taking action.

06. The site should be cleared within 3 (three) days from the completion of the Programme.

07. WB HIDCO reserves the right to cancel any offer without assigning any reason. In case of cancellation no liabilities will be incurred by WBHIDCO.
