Dear Supporters of Friends House Moscow Looking back on 2009 we are pleased that we were able to raise enough funds from individuals, Quaker Meetings, and grant-giving bodies to keep up our projects. We are now looking ahead to 2010, and hope you will continue to support us.

Sales of our cards are important. They raise funds for our projects, and spread the word about Friends House Moscow to a wider circle of people. We are offering a special Christmas price for FHM cards: £2.00 for 5, including packing and postage. Feel free to mix the designs.

Further fundraising!

We are doing our planning and hoping next Christmas to get our cards sold more widely, possibly through the Cards for Good Causes scheme.

To do this we have to sign up for it before the end of this year, and create a list of places where we can field a volunteer who would be willing to sell cards in November/December 2010.

Each person would be asked to do a three-hour session each week that their chosen outlet is in operation. This period varies from one week to several – as a guide, dates for this year are shown at http://www.cardsforcharity.co.uk/shops.asp.

We would like to ask if you can help. Of course, we understand that life is not predictable and all sorts of things may happen in twelve months, but if you think you will be able to help us in this way, please let us know before Christmas!

If you would like us to access the Cards for Good Causes site for you, or you would like more information, please contact us on 01584 875206, or email us: [email protected].

As the year comes to an end we thank you for your support for FHM’s work, which is much appreciated. And we hope you will continue to take an interest in the coming year.
