Retakes will be available for all
new students, those students who
were absent on Picture Day
and any other student who
would like to purchase pictures
at this time. Students need to
have their order forms and
money with them if they want
to purchase a package.
For those students who bought
a package and for whatever
reason want a retake, they
must have the complete,
original package with them to
give to the photographer.
Retake order forms will be avail-
able in the school office.
Healthy Smiles of Indiana will be visiting Pleasant Run on Nov. 9 &
10th. They are a local non-profit organization dedicated to helping
the children in our community. They provide the following services
on site exams: cleanings, x-rays, fluoride, and sealants. If you would like your
child to participate in this program and he/she has not had a routine cleaning
in the last 6 months, please fill out the registration form that will be sent home
and return it to school as soon as possible. Additional forms are available in
the school office.
If you have any questions, call Healthy Smiles at 894-8370.
Pleasant Run Families,
We have a building full of very excited children for Halloween. Below are some safety reminders for students and parents to remember for tomorrow night’s Trick or Treating:
It is recommended that all children under the age of 12 be ac-companied by a parent or responsible adult.
Instruct your children to travel only in familiar, well lit areas and never be alone.
Tell your children to not eat any treats until they return home.
Teach your children to never enter a stranger’s home.
Agree on a specific time for your children to come home.
Give your children flashlights with fresh batteries to help them see and for others to see them. Make sure your child or a responsible adult with them carries a cell phone for quick communication.
Insist that treats be brought home for inspection before any-thing is eaten.
When in doubt throw it out. Have a safe weekend and remember to turn your clocks back one hour tomorrow night. Mr. Anderson, Principal

FUNDRAISER
ITEMS:
We just wanted to
let you know that
the PTA fundraiser
items that you
ordered will be here
on Monday, 11/2.
Blue, the Colt’s mascot visited with our
2nd and 3rd graders this week. Blue,
along with Coach Pagano and some of
the members of the team, explained the
importance of staying healthy. We
should eat a well-balanced diet and
exercise 60 minutes a day. They also
emphasized to treat everyone the way
that we want to be treated; to not allow
bullying in our school.
If we, as a school, can follow Blue’s
message, we may be chosen to have a
celebration with Blue and some of our
Colts, at the end of the school year! Let’s
go Panthers...Excellence every day,
that’s the Panther Way!!!
