NEWS NOVEMBER, 2017 Welcome to November UTA!! Happy FALL everyone! MESSAGE FROM CHIEF MARK PRIZINA: For the past two weeks, the 152nd Communications Flight, Nevada Air National Guard, using the Joint Incident Site Communications Capability system, or JISCC, has provid- ed communications for the medical and support elements working the northern California wildfires. 152nd Airlift Wing Command Chief Master Sgt. Mark Prizina visited the Nevada Airmen last week and had this to say: “I had the privilege to join up with the team Thursday to assess the damage and witness firsthand the amazing support that the JISCC and the highly skilled Airmen from our Communications Flight have provided to first responders and the California Army National Guard. To hear Capt. Greg Green, Communications Flight Commander, put it into perspective made me realize that the Nevada National Guard’s capability in these des- perate times makes all the difference to the citizens in these communities devastated by natural disasters. The Nevada Air Guardsmen helped the Red Cross in a variety of ways: established internet, telephone and fax connectivity; provided laptops as well as aided the California Army Na- tional Guard with similar communications. I’m extremely impressed by the work they are doing in California.” High Roller News Volume 35 Drill weekend weather forecast: SAT SUN 50 o 36 o 49 o 36 o S A F E TRAVELS HIGH ROLLERS!
