?
In literacy, we are excited to start our colonial
America research project about the thirteen colonies.
We are researching economies, geography, religion,
education and culture of the 13 English colonies.
We will refer back to our research to create a report
to present to the class.

celebration with about 52 Pilgrims and 50 Native
Americans.
President Lincoln made Thanksgiving a national holiday
in 1863.
The first Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York
City began in 1924 with 400 employees marching.
The heaviest turkey on record, according to the
Guinness Book of Records, weighed 86 pounds.

Interview With A Teacher/Staff
Q: What do you like about being a teacher? A: I love to inspire kids for the future. Q: What do you do in your free time? A: I love to travel. I love movies and plays. Q: What are your best childhood memories? A: Being with my family. I liked playing double dutch. I also liked to travel with my family. Q: Who is your favorite football or basketball player? A: I like Cam Newton. I want to show my class highlights of him. Q: What would you do with a million dollars? A: I would build an apartment for homeless people. I see a lot (of homelessness) and it breaks my heart. So, I would like to help them.
