Living Liturgy:

Isaiah admonishes the people of his time to “climb the Lord’s

mountain...that he may instruct us in his ways’. We are thus not at

a loss about how we walk in the light and live in God’s time. We

are to listen to God’s instructions, one practical way to “stay

awake” and prepare for Christ’s coming. Instructions in God’s

ways—in doing God’s will—comes more formally through the

readings and homily at Sunday Mass or through catechetical in-

structions also come through people who may ask for our help (giving us the choice to put another’s good ahead of our own” or

numerous everyday situations when we are faced with making mor-

al choices (such as whether or not to put in an honest day’s work).

The issues is to listen and see in these practical situations—in our

own measured time—how God is drawing us into an eternity of

time. Our listening means staying awake. Advent will bring us

many choices; how we respond is practice in being prepared. Our

everyday choices to follow God’s ways immerse us in God’s time

where we already now experience the life that only God can give.

Semana tras semana durante el Año de la Mesericordia

Isaías exhorta a la gente de su tiempo a "subir al monte del Señor ... para

que nos instruya en sus caminos". Por lo tanto, no estamos en una pérdi-

da acerca de cómo caminamos en la luz y vivimos en el tiempo de Dios.

significa permanecer despierto El Adviento nos traerá muchas opciones,

como responderemos es la práctica en estar preparados Nuestras decisio-

nes cotidianas de seguir los caminos de Dios nos sumergen en el tiempo

de Dios donde ahora ya experimentamos la vida que sólo Dios puede

dar.

Make sure holiday shopping is done safely. No matter

how you handle Christmas gifts, you’re likely to have to go to the

mall with your kids during the holiday season. In the midst of the

crowds, children can easily become separated from their parents.

Be alert in crowds and maintain awareness of what others

around you are doing. Institute the buddy system – have your kids

hold your hand or one another’s. Talk with your children about

what to do, and who to go to for help, should you become separat-

ed. Also, it is important to give your child your cell phone number

Baptismal Class The exciting and meaningful experience of

Baptism strengthens our families and par -

ish community with God. Whether baptized

as a baby or an adult, Parents and Godparents need to

attend a Baptismal class before baptizing his or her

child. Baptismal classes are scheduled the last Tuesdays

of each month. The next scheduled baptismal class is:

alice el sistema de amigos, que sus hijos se tomen de su

hacer y a quién acudir para ayuda, en caso que se se-

paren de usted. Además, es importante darles a sus hijos

su número de teléfono celular para que el personal de

seguridad del centro comercial puedan contactarla/o

Misa Diaria Seria edificante ver a cada familia venir a la

Misa diaria a menos una vez por semana

aparte del sábado en la tarde o el domingo.

Por favor animen a nuestra juventud a venir a

Misa daría y si no esta trabajando de un buen

ejemplo y venga con ellos. En estos día parti-

cipando en la Misa diaria y recibiendo la Santa Comu-

nión. La Misa Diaria dura aproximadamente ½ hora. El

Rosario se reza 30 minutos antes de la misa durante la

semana (en inglés). Los invitamos a que nos acompañen.

Clases Bautismales La experiencia emocionante y signi-

ficativa del Bautismo fortalece nues-

tras familias y de la comunidad pa-

rroquial con Dios. Ya sea bautizado

cuando era un bebé o un adulto, el Bautismo es

el primer paso en un viaje de por vida con

Dios. Los padres y padrinos deben asistir a una

clase de bautismo antes de bautizar a su hijo o

hija. Clases bautismales se han programado el

último martes de cada mes. La próxima clase

bautismal programada el MARTES: 29 de No-

viembre, a las 6:30pm en el salón parroquial

Introducción a la Liturgia del día:

En nuestra diversa nación, Día de Acción de

Gracias puede significar muchas cosas

diferentes dependiendo de nuestra herencia e

historia en este país. Pero nosotros los católicos podemos

llegar a la mesa del altar, sin importar quiénes somos de

donde venimos, y expresar el mismo agradecimiento a

Dios y compartir la misma comida para las almas. Por

tanto, hagamos una pausa, agradezcamos todos los dones

que tenemos de un Dios bueno y bondadoso, y llevemos

esa gratitud hacia adelante con un corazón más generoso

y acogedor.
