November - December 2015 Voice Issue 410 1 What a year we have had in 2015; we can’t believe it is almost over! We have had such a great year from Officer Training and Public Speaking to Camps and most recently the Fair. Thank you to everyone who helped make this year so successful. We couldn’t have done it without you! 2015 started with the formation of a new club, St. Peter’s 4-H Club. Welcome to the new club and all the new 4-Her’s throughout the program. We hope you had a great first year in 4-H! We had many of our youth participate in regional, state and national 4-H events. Again this year, we had 3 fantastic camps with great teen leaders and an amazing adult staff. September brought the fair and with the fair came the renovation of our risers in the 4-H building. They were painted an electric green that brightened up the 4-H building and helped showcase the many projects that were entered in the building. Thanks to Farmer’s Fortune for coming out and painting the risers. We just had another very successful Clover Campaign at Tractor Supply! They are always such wonderful supporters of the program and helped us show off what 4-H does for youth. In November we are looking forward to more youth heading to national contests. Good luck to everyone headed on trips! We know you will represent Maryland well! Unfortunately, with the change of date this year, 4-H will not be participating in the Kris Kringle Market at the fairgrounds. But, don’t miss out on the vendors and Christmas lights. Thank you everyone for always “Making the Best Better” during 2015! We are thankful for so many wonderful youth and adult volunteers! What a year we have had in 2015; we can’t believe it is almost over! We have had such a great

year from Officer Training and Public Speaking to Camps and most recently the Fair. Thank you

to everyone who helped make this year so successful. We couldn’t have done it without you!

2015 started with the formation of a new club, St. Peter’s 4-H Club. Welcome to the new club

and all the new 4-Her’s throughout the program. We hope you had a great first year in 4-H!

We had many of our youth participate in regional, state and national 4-H events. Again this

year, we had 3 fantastic camps with great teen leaders and an amazing adult staff. September

brought the fair and with the fair came the renovation of our risers in the 4-H building. They

were painted an electric green that brightened up the 4-H building and helped showcase the

many projects that were entered in the building. Thanks to Farmer’s Fortune for coming out and

painting the risers.

We just had another very successful Clover Campaign at Tractor Supply! They are always such

wonderful supporters of the program and helped us show off what 4-H does for youth. In

November we are looking forward to more youth heading to national contests. Good luck to

everyone headed on trips! We know you will represent Maryland well!

Unfortunately, with the change of date this year, 4-H will not be participating in the Kris Kringle

Market at the fairgrounds. But, don’t miss out on the vendors and Christmas lights.

Thank you everyone for always “Making the Best Better” during 2015! We are thankful for so

many wonderful youth and adult volunteers!

The Charles County Staff are looking forward to a great 2016 4-H year!
