COOK: Culinary Offerings from ourKitchens: Buy the recipe book!
In the Spring of 2020 we at the Women'sLeague joined force with MIT EndicottHouse and MITAC to create a new MITcookbook. With so many in our communitybuilding their cooking skills and missingcampus, this was a way to bring peopletogether.
We requested people submit their recipes, the story behind them and their favoriteMIT memory. The recipes have beengathered together in this beautiful book, now available for purchase.
On October 19th, a virtual presentationfrom Endicott House brought together winners chosen by the MIT Endicott HouseExecutive Chef, Eddie Cerrato. The winners prepared their recipes and shared what therecipes meant to them to a delightedvirtual audience.
You can order your copy of COOK directfrom the Endicott House website, deliveredto you for $18. All proceeds from the sale ofthe book will be donated to Project RestoreUs (projectrstoreus.org). Founded by fourwomen who lead local area restaurants,Project Restore Us is a mutual aidorganization that tackles food insecurity inthe Boston Area..

This year is the 26th year of the FallFashion Free-For-All, a program launchedby Women's League members to makesure that students have all they need toget through the tough New England winterand the professional clothing they needfor interviews. Over the years, theprogram has expanded beyond its originalmandate of helping internationalnewcomers to serving students with agreater financial need.
Last year, unable to gather in person, wehad to get creative to make sure we could
help those in need. We helped over 200 MITstudents get the clothes they needed in theFall of 2020 and the Winter of 2021. Ourremote option was such a success, we'vecontinued it this year. Working withStudent Support Services, the InternationalStudent Office and the Office of the FirstYear, we got the word out to students whosigned up for the clothes they need.
The spreadsheet is live and you cansign up to help a student. [email protected] and we'll get thingsmoving.

Last year, we were notable to gather in person to make thewreaths in a safe way, so we donatedfunds to MIT's Buildings & Grounds, sothat they might put together the wreathson our behalf.
