St. Louis Branch Holiday Outreach “Adopt a Family” Program

Donations Needed for Our Final Raffle of the Year Since 2012, the St. Louis branch of the Missouri APWA has adopted families from the St. Louis Crisis Family Nursery during the holiday season to provide a brighter Christmas morning to those in need. We have set out a goal to expand our efforts and adopt multiple families through your charitable contri-butions and donations. This year we decided to hold three fundraising efforts. Thus far, we have held raffles in May and

September. At the September 20th raffle, the Branch was able to raise $625. This brought our grand total to $1,545 so far, this year!!

The Branch would like to thank the following sponsors who through their generosity provided the donations for the September

raffle:

Crawford, Murphy & Tilly Odyssey White Pro 2.0 V-Line Putter

Shannon and Wilson $50 Lowe’s Gift Card

Spire Energy 2 Tickets to a 2018 Cardinals Game

Burns and McDonnell 4 Tickets to a 2018 Cardinals Game

EDM 2 Tickets to a 2018 Cardinals Game Our final raffle will be at the December 7th Holiday Lunch. The combined money raised in all three raffles will be used for the Christmas Outreach Program. The final raffle will be held December 7th at our luncheon at Holiday Lunch at Hollywood Casino. So how can you help: At our remaining December program, we will be raffling off chances to win cool stuff. That’s where you come in. We are in need of items that people would want to buy raffle tickets for. Some of our wish list items would include tablets, golf foursomes, sports memorabilia, sports tickets (Cardinals, Blues), restaurant or store gift cards, or other items that somebody like you would enjoy winning if you bought a raffle ticket. Nothing is too small, nor too large. If your company would like to support our efforts by ei-ther providing one of the items, or just making a donation with the understanding that we may purchase one of the items with the donation, please contact John Keeven. Thank you to the following companies/individuals that donated items for previous raffles in May of this year: Crawford, Murphy and Tilly GBA Shannon and Wilson Security Title Oates Associates Vijay Bhasin If you are interested in donating for our December Raffle, please contact: John Keeven (314) 571-9088 or [email protected]
