Beckman Coulter is committed to the rapid development and release of VERIS molecular diagnostics assays to address the most demanding virology and microbiology workloads. VERIS assays use real-time PCR for accurate and precise quantitative detection of both RNA and DNA targets. All assays are developed in compliance with CLSI guidelines and ISO standards and calibrated to WHO standards.

Given their global health impact, four CE-marked, viral load-monitoring assays for infectious diseases (CMV, HIV-1 and Hepatitis C and B) are currently available. Assays for STDs, women’s health, and hospital-acquired infections are in development.
