Well 2010 has been another exciting year for us here at Canadian Woodworker. We have another
new store now in operation and another successful year under our belt. New stores, new manu-
facturing partners, new tools and new friends make this Christmas a very special one!!

Woodworker’s Flea Market Sale. For those of you who have not attended or have for-gotten what a Woodworker’s Flea Market Sale is, this is a sale that you, our customer, takes part in by supplying us the tools for our sale. We ask that you do an inventory of all of the woodworking related items you have in your shop and see if there is anything that you no longer use or want. These items can be anything from hand tools, power tools, magazines and or woodworking books. Maybe even tools you are still using but you would like to upgrade to something bigger, better, more powerful, or just more updated. We have all purchased tools or been given gifts that just didn’t work out to be what we wanted or you had a need for it at the time but have never used it since. This sale will provide you with a means to sell your tools to educated buyers that know the value of woodworking tools and books instead of a garage sale or costly advertising in print. With the funds generated by the sale of your items you can then purchase the tool you now have a need for.
when does it happen?
sale will start January 3, 2011 and continue until we run out of product or January 30, 2011. We would ask for you to start dropping off your sale items anytime during working hours the week of December 27, 2010.
how does it work?
When you bring your items to us, we will make a full list of our tools on a
paper form in which your asking price will be listed for each item. This is the price
that will be marked on the item when it is displayed for sale.
This is the price the item will sell for unless we call
you in advance with another purchase offer for your approval.
All monies generated will be recorded and totaled at the end of the sale. At that time you will have one of two choices:
• Wewillwriteyouachequeforthefull amount of funds generated less a 15% selling fee. E.g. If we sold $100.00 worth of product for you, we will write you achequefor$85.00.
• BooksandMagazineswillhavea25% Selling Fee
or• WewillgiveyouaCanadian Woodworker Gift Certificate for the entire amount generated for you to spend in the store on any other tools etc.
This sale is a great way to recycle your old tools and make it easier to organize your workshop and to generate more capital to help your woodworking hobby flourish.
