The wearer of this armor may chose to increase the TN of any spell cast at him by an amount equal to the bonus he recieves from his armor (kata and techniques included). You must be Large to have this armor fitted to you. It is passed from Crab Champion to Crab Champion. "Old" is a 2nd ed. disadvantage that has not yet seen print in 3rd ed. Old characters must make an aditional raise on any Strength or Agility roll. Then again, looking at Kisada's stats, he can easily make that raise, and may not even notice that he'd done so. Old also used to grant insight bonuses, but I don't think that's necessary in 3rd ed. 'Invective' is a synonym for 'cuss' or 'insult.' Among the Crab (and to a lesser degree, the Mantis), there is little difference between Games: Sadane and Lore: Invective, and the latter may be used in contests of the former. When dealing with any other clan, such a substitution would be grossly inappropriate (and would most likely constitute a Major Breach of Etiquette). They may use Doji Courtier techniques as if they were a courtier with a School Rank equal to their highest Bushi School Rank, and may use Kakita Bushi techniques as if they were a bushi with a School Rank equal to their highest Courtier School Rank.

RAW. If your game does not use the Battle (Go) emphasis, then I would suggest giving Doji Hoturi the Games: Go skill at a Rank of 2.
