01— Automatic dosing in animal husbandry 02— Barn cleaning and hygiene 03— Treating solid waste, slurry

and liquid manure 04— Ensilling 05— Treating meadows and pastures 06— Water treatment

Animal HusbandryThe use of NRG with FHE in barns markedly slows the putrefaction process and removes the conditions suitable for fly larvae. The climate is markedly improved and the number of flying pests and odours are greatly reduced. Using NRG with FHE suppresses putrefaction processes and has positive effects on livestock farming. Liquid and solid manure will be significantly less smelly when FHE is used and is gentler on your soil and crops.

Better feed intake NRG with FHE (Fermented Herbal Extract) can be used with all animals. Just add to their water and feed.

• Mix feed with NRG and FHE(Fermented Herbal Extract)

• NRG with FHE (Fermented HerbalExtract) increases feed intake andappetite **

• NRG with FHE putsan end to bad smellsin the barn

• NRG with FHE reducesammonia emissionsfrom solid manure by45%*

01_Automatic dosing in animal husbandry Save time and hassle with an automatic spray system and injector for automated feed dosage. It keeps the amount of manual work to a minimum and makes it even easier to add NRG with FHE to your animals‘ feed. Multikraft Probiotics has specialist staff to advise on your individual requirements for custom feed systems.

Dosage with the Spotmix multi-phase feeding systemIf you use a Spotmix system, the NRGwith FHE is added as a separate feedcomponent. This allows themixing rates to be changedat any time.

02_Barn cleaning and hygiene Using FHE will colonise your barn with regenerative microorganisms. This will prevent putrefaction, odours and fly infestations.

CLEANING THE BARN BEFORE MOVING THE ANIMALS IN 3 steps for creating a clean environment for your animals: 1. Add FHE to your high-pressure cleaner in a 1:1000 dilution.2. Clean and flush out the stall thoroughly. Don‘t forget the corners and edges, these tend to harbour lots of bacteria!3. Then use FHE as follows:

Dosage per 100 m2:15 L FHE50 L water

Application: Spray diluted FHE evenly across the shed. Don‘t forget the ventilation shafts, cracks in the roof, etc.

REGULAR TREATMENT

Page 5: NRG for Animals - Multikraft Australia For animals Nov 17.pdf · NRG for Animals (with Beneficial Microbes and Fermented Herbal Extract - ... 1 net bag of Multikraft Ceramic grey

03_Treating solid waste, slurry and liquid manure Treat liquid manure, slurry and fresh manure with FHE to prevent putrefaction, odours, and fly infestations. FHE optimises the fluidity of the slurry and reduces the formation of floating and sinking layers.

RECOMMENDATION FOR USE

Dosage for liquid manure and slurry treatment per m3 (depends on waste content): 1--- 2 L FHE2 --- 3 kg Charcoal (about 1 kg per 0.5 kg of nitrogen (N) in the manure analysis) plus: 30 --- 40 kg Rock dust (ZeoBas)

dosage for solid waste treatment per m3 (depends on waste content): 1--- 2 L FHE50 ---100 kg Charcoal (for the synthesis of stable humus and prevent nitrogen (N) loss) plus per m3 of dung: ca. 25 --- 50 kg Rock dust (ZeoBas) -> per hectare about 500 kg

Application: Spray FHE at least 1 time per week on manure/liquid manure channels or solid manure and add to charcoal meal. For better soil conditions, we recommend adding basal rock dust to the solid or liquid manure or slurry.

Important: • Add Rock dust immediately before application.• Do not spread Charcoal in animal stalls (causes discolouration).

Effective mechanisms: Nitrogen is bound in the soil: organic binding prevents the nitrogen from washing away unlike conventional fertilisers or unprocessed manure and being evaporated into the atmosphere. Water and nutrient balances can be optimized: The use of Charcoal and FHE helps build permanent humus in the soil to create a more stable soil structure and prevent erosion. Soil becomes more resistant to extreme weather situations such as drought or heavy rains.

04_Silage NRG with FHE is a silage aid that promotes optimal fermentation of maize, whole grain, grass and fodda silage. NRG with FHE is field- tested and delivers an appetising, high-energy silage. NRG with FHE makes silage more stable and the optimum pH-levels are more quickly reached. NRG with FHE active ingredients are two strains of lactic acid bacteria (Lactobacillus plantarum and Lactobacillus casei) and yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae). NRG with FHE is hetero-fermentative (creating several fermentation products such as propanediol and propanol) unlike homo-fermentative silage (which only forms lactic acid).

RECOMMENDED USE FOR SILAGE (MAIZE, WHOLE GRAIN, GRASS AND FODDA GRASS SILAGE, ETC.)

Dosage per m3 silage pit: 1 L FHE

Application: Apply FHE evenly to the silage.

Effect: FHE promotes fermentation of the silage. It supports a rapid formation of lactic acid and accelerates the pH reduction during silage process to achieve the optimal pH value more rapidly. Increased formation of lactic acid, acetic acid, propionic acid, 1,2- propanediol, and 1-propanol improves the aerobic stability which means increased stability against secondary fermentation.

Testimonial:

Dr Joachim Kreuzinger, veterinarian from Allhaming, Upper Austria, has been working successfully with Multikraft micro-organisms since the late 1990s. He discovered Multikraft Probiotics from another farmer. He said, “since I started using these beneficial micro-organisms, the manure has become much more fluid and the fly population has been considerably reduced. This initial positive experience encouraged me to work further with Multikraft microbes. After several successful experiments, I was convinced and have since promoted it's use in my work as a veterinarian.“

05_Treating fodder crops and pastures Spraying fodder crops and pastures with Microlife, results in lush grass growth, promotes the conversion of organic matter (animal dung), and prevents soil putrefaction. The plants contain more antioxidants and bio-active substances such as vitamins, trace elements, etc. The result is a denser crop/pasture and secondary grow is more intense.

RECOMMENDATION FOR USE

Rate per hectare after each cut: 5-50 L Microlife

Application: Spray Microlife, preferably in the evening or in the morning (not in strong sunlight). Alternatively, apply 5-50 litres Microlife by irrigation or with liquid or solid manure.

06_Water treatment Multikraft Ceramic is recommended for improving your water quality. Multikraft Ceramic reduces the water clusters, allowing the nutrients and minerals to enter the cells more readily while flushing contaminants out of the body.

WATER TREATMENT RECOMMENDATION Clean trough thoroughly with Multikraft Power Cleaner at 1:10 Calculate total water consumed per head per day

Dosage per 1 m3 water: 1 L Microlife

Application: Can be applied directly to water trough or though dosing system.

WATER TREATMENT – ALTERNATIVE APPLICATION RECOMMENDATIONS

In addition, Multikraft Ceramics is recommended for improving the water quality. Multikraft Ceramics causes the water cluster to shrink, so that nutrients and minerals can be introduced into the cells more easily and harmful substances can be removed from the body more effectively.

Amount required for small water trough up to 1 m3: 1 net bag of Multikraft Ceramic grey Pipes and 1 Multikraft Ceramic 35 mm Pipe

Amount required for large water trough, larger than 1 m3: 1--- 3 nets Multikraft Ceramic grey Pipes and 1--- 3 Multikraft Ceramic 35 mm Pipes

Application: Install Multikraft Ceramic grey Pipes, combined with Multikraft Ceramic 35 mm Pipes, below float valve where the water can flow over it.
