FAQsHow much does a course cost? Each class is $175. Instructors may charge a material fee which is indicated by the course description. Please pay this fee at the first class, to the instructor.

Are there discounts if I sign up for two classes or have more than one child registering?North Shore Community College is committed to keeping the cost as low as possible, therefore, tuition is priced accordingly so that no other discount is available.

How do I register? There are three easy ways: fax, mail, or over the phone. See Registration Form on inside back cover of this catalogue.

Why do classes sometimes get cancelled and how can I help to be sure they run?We need to give our instructors five days notice if their class is not going to run. Therefore, if we can get as many registrations in as early as possible, everyone wins.

How do I know if our class is cancelled due to inclement weather? The college is responsible for closing the college based on severe weather conditions. Call our weather line if you have questions at 978-762-4200.

Note: You will receive a medical history form and media release form in the mail. You MUST complete and return by mail or on the first day of class. We cannot allow any student to attend class unless this paperwork is completed and returned.

Your early registration matters! Classes with insufficient enrollment as of one week prior to the start date will be cancelled.
