WOLLONDILLY 2019
Wollondilly Shire Council and the Seniors Festival Working Group are pleased to share the Wollondilly Seniors Festival 2019 with the community.
There is something for everyone at Seniors Festival 2019, with fun, accessible and inclusive events available across the Wollondilly Shire. This booklet includes events being held on the offi cial dates of the Seniors Festival from 13 to 24 February 2019, as well as many other events available for seniors throughout February and March 2019.
We would like to thank our event hosts for holding friendly and inclusive events for our older community. Every eff ort has been taken during the preparation of this booklet so that all contents are correct at time of printing. You are encouraged to confi rm details with event organisers before attending.
Seniors Festival 2019 in WOLLONDILLY
ALL FEBRUARY $
Free Pool Entry for Seniors Wollondilly Community Leisure Centre, 434 Argyle St, Picton
Warragamba Swimming Pool, Farnsworth Avenue, Warragamba
Seniors living in the Wollondilly will have free access to Wollondilly Community Leisure Centre and Warragamba pools for the month of February. Seniors will be able to access both pools to swim, undertake a gentle aqua class or walk laps of the pool at no cost.

Bring measurements of your yard and design a native garden specific for your home. Participants can then select native plants from the Wollondilly Community Nursery and take them home to get started. Limit of 20 plants per property.

Legal Issues for Older People 10.00am–12.00 noonThe View Room, Level 1, Wollondilly Library 42 Menangle Street, Picton
Join a panel of lawyers and seniors rights experts as they explore issues that older people and their families experience when planning for the future. There will be a free screening of the play ‘Piano Forte’ which explores elder abuse, followed by a discussion and a chance to ask the panel questions. Free refreshments provided.
