What does the IP67 rated housing mean?

This refers to the degree of protection provided against objects intruding inside of the router. An IP67 rating means that the router is completely protected against any dust getting into the router and can be immersed in up to 1m of water

How does this router compare to a standard 3G/4G router?

The main difference is that this router is designed to be installed on the outside of a premises, giving it the best possible chance of receiving the strongest 3G signal that can be distributed over WiFi and Ethernet.

What are the mounting options?

The router comes with both a wall mount and pole mount kit. The router can be easily installed to any wall or pole that will allow the router to receive the best signal.

Picking the best spot for installation

It is recommended that the router is mounted in a position where it will receive the strongest signal strength. For example, if the closest 3G tower is located on the eastern side of a property, then mount the router on the eastern side of the building. The 5 signal strength LEDs on the router can assist in letting the installer know where the best signal is received.

What antennas are included?

The 3G and WiFi antennas are N-Type omni-directional antennas, optimised for best performance with the router.
