Experiential Learning At Northeastern, we believe that integrated learning is the most powerful way to learn. This immersive educational model fosters innovation and life-long learning through experiential learning opportunities, including professional co-op, service, research, and global experiences.
Admissions InformationOur admissions process is holistic—we review every application closely, looking at academic, extracurricular, and personal achievements. We also consider what type of student will be a good fit for Northeastern, as our students are intellectually curious, innovative, and active leaders. Transfer students have two opportunities to apply for enrollment at Northeastern—Spring 2020 (January) and Fall 2019 (September).

Transfer Credit Evaluation ProcessTransfer credit evaluations are completed after admission to Northeastern. Faculty members from each department make evaluations based on the content of the course and determine if an equivalent is offered at Northeastern. To prepare for your credit review, follow these steps:
Review the Online Transfer Equivalency Database on the Admissions website
Collect syllabi for courses that do not appear on the database
Submit advanced examination scores (AP, IB, GCE, etc…) and transcript(s) from dual-enrollment courses
