‘Look on the Bright Side’.
When we try to be positive, it is impotant to
remember that a kind word can really help!
Task: This week, find adjectives (words that
describe something) that start with or
contain a letter from your name. For
example if you have the letter a in your
name, you can use the adjectives
adorable, brilliant and fantastic.
You can do it in any language you want.
Use google to help you find adjectives if
you are not sure. You can find examples in
the resource pdf.
Decorate your picture and put it somewhere
in your house where you can see it. Every
time you need something to cheer you up,
you can look at it!

Task: Imagine you have been asked to create
your ideal lesson timetable for a day at
school. Plan it out and decide what you would
include and what you would leave out. Make
sure it will provide children with a really good
quality education.
Think about our visual timetable, you could
draw it out like we have on the board each
day in class.
.
R.E This Thursday (21st May) is a special feast
day. It is the Feast of the Ascension. On this
day we celebrate Jesus leaving his disciples
to go to Heaven.
Watch the story of Jesus’ Ascension https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UcFw8pLBSIo
Task: Draw a comic strip of the story.
Think of the 6-8 main parts and retell them to
an adult. Then draw out your story in the
style of a comic. Remember a comic has
boxes, pictures, words, speech bubbles and
colours……
If you want you can print out a comic
template we have put one in the resources
PDF or you could just draw your own one by
splitting your page into boxes like below.
