Dear customers and friends of Herd Farms Nursery,

It is with great pleasure to announce we are starting our 20th year in business.I want to begin by thanking you for allowing Herd Farms to serve youthroughout the past twenty years. In 2000, we began operations with twenty-four beds, a desk in the basement, and zero employees.  Throughout the pasttwenty years, we have grown to 390 beds with well over a million plants, sixemployees, and equipment and infrastructure to handle this volume. The roadwe have traveled during the past twenty years has been littered with blessingsof success, too many failures to mention, and valuable lessons accompanyingevery situation.  As many of you know, the nursery industry is unique in that customers, employees, and family come before profit.  Teresa and I have raised twowonderful children, become close friends with many people, and haveemployees who are like family. We are thankful for the opportunity the nurseryindustry has provided us to spend valuable time with these people at our ownhome and business.

The journey has only just begun, and we look forward to our next twenty years. We look forward with optimism and excitement to see what God and ourindustry have in store for us. We atHerd Farms will continue to serveyou, our customers, like family.

Thank You and

To God Be the Glory,

Phillip and Teresa Herd
