▪ The focus is on looking at the pictures, listening to the story sentences and understanding the story.

▪ Students are NOT required to recognize the words on the page.

The Nursery Level readers have been designed to:

• recycle previously learned vocabulary and language structures in different contexts

• expose students to new vocabulary and language structures in meaningful contexts

• provide an enjoyable pre-reading experience for students
