• Nutri-Pack Production project aims primarily to address malnutrition problem in the municipality and promote good health to the general public.
• The project aims to provide livelihood activities for mothers and improve their living conditions.

intended to be produced are insumix, soya power, pulvoron and kropekwhich have ground soy beans as main ingredient which is good for the health and helps in reducing blood pressure and cholesterol.
• Total budget for this project is Php 200,000.00 for one-year implementation.

The ProductThe Product• Nutri products include insumix, soya
powder, 3n1 soya drink, pulvoron and kropek. All these products have soy beans as main ingredient.
• The insumix in the recipe contains “dilis” and monggo. However, the MVA instead produced insumix with ground soy beans, skim milk and brown sugar only because “dilis” was not abundant during the first months of production.

1st day -Orientation on Nutri-pack Production Project attended by Barangay Captains and other barangay officials, BEANS assigned in the different barangays and other offices concerned in the management of the said project.
2nd day - actual demonstration and workshop on how to prepare the products- Insumix, kropek, pulvoron and soya powder was done and facilitated by a personnel from the Municipal Agricultural Office.

On June 5, 2007 first tranche equivalent to Php140,000.00 was withdrawn for the needed utensils and raw materials for nutri-pack production.

sales amounted to (Php43,113.00) – Php 21,429.00 for the first month from June-
July and – Php21,684.00 for the second month from
July-August aside from the stocks left under the care of some officers of the Mother Vendors’ Association.
Short-term ImpactsShort-term Impacts
• Malnutrition Prevalence Rate (MPR) was reported to be 7.48 in 2005 based on CBMS data results, then increased to 17.5 in 2006. In 2007, it lowered to 15% (based on the report of the Nutrition Action Office)
• Within the two-month period of nutri pack project implementation, the mothers increased their income by an average of Php300.00 per month
