Nutrition Club Concept

Nutrition Clubs are social gatherings that bring together people who have an interest in good nutrition and general well being.

Nutrition Clubs provide a positive environment where like minded individuals may meet on a daily basis to share and relate their nutrition goals with other people.

■ Nutrition Clubs are NOT retail stores or outlets.

■ Nutrition Clubs are NOT restaurants or or cafes; NOR are they carry-out establishments.

This training guide is for Nutrition Club Operators. The purpose of

this guide is to provide information and operational guidance regarding

Nutrition Clubs. These guidelines must be observed by Operators in

developing their Clubs.

Products prepared at the Nutrition Club should be consumed on the premises of the Club.

The daily Nutrition Club membership fees cover the overall costs of operation and are not in exchange for products which are served during Club operations.

Nutrition Club Operators must always remember and remind their participants that the products are not intended to diagnose, treat, prevent or cure any disease or medical condition.

Nutrition Club Operation

■ A Club Operator must be fully trained by his or her Sponsor or another member of their upline before opening a Club.

■ Each Club must be operated by an Independent Distributor who shall be present at all times when the Club is open.

■ If absent, the Club Operator must assign a Distributor who he or she personally trained to oversee Club operations.

■ A Club Operator must ensure that Club premises are maintained in a clean and hygienic state.

As in all of their Herbalife business activities, Distributors:

■ May NOT sell Herbalife products to another Distributor who is not in their own downline.

■ Must purchase all Herbalife products only from the Company or from their upline.

■ May NOT offer, promote, or sell, non-Herbalife products on Club premises.

■ Must obtain all required permits and licenses from their city, state, province, etc.

Nutrition Club Products

■ Only Herbalife products authorized for sale in the specific country where the Nutrition Club is located may be provided for consumption or sold at retail while operating a Nutrition Club.

■ Nutrition Club Operators may charge a single, comprehensive daily fee to cover all of their operational costs, but they may never charge a specific fee for Club offerings such as shakes and teas. Therefore, product menus and price lists are not allowed.

■ All Herbalife products may only be sold unopened and in their standard Herbalife packaging, as advertised in the official Herbalife Product Catalog.

■ Individual tablets (or Distributor-created combinations of individual tablets) may not be provided or sold in the Club (or elsewhere).

■ Herbalife products can only be prepared, served and consumed in accordance with the instructions on the printed labels of the product containers, which may be shown to the members upon request.

■ Nutrition Club fees cover the overall costs of operation; they are NOT a purchase price for shakes or other products, or for fresh fruit or other ingredients that may be added to the shakes.

■ Club Operators, however, can display one unit of every any Herbalife product then available in the country of operation, including products that are not served and consumed in the club. Display products must be unopened and in their original packing, and under no circumstances can they be visible from the outside.

■ If a Club Member attributes a partial or complete recovery from any disease or medical condition to the products, the Club Operator must always respond that the products provide a good source of nutrition, but they are not intended to diagnose, treat, prevent nor cure any disease or medical condition.

■ To protect against those who might seek counterfeit Herbalife product, Club Operators are required to deface or destroy labels and containers before disposing of empty containers.

■ A facial demonstration can be given, consisting of an application of basic Personal Care products (cleanser, cream, toner, moisturizer, mask, etc.) In some countries, a Club Operator may need a special license in order to apply products to the skin.

How to Invite New Members

Nutrition Club Operators may invite guests only as follows:

■ A new guest may discover a Nutrition Club exclusively through word of mouth.

■ A new guest may be given an invitation in person.

• An invitation in writing may be given to a new person only after a verbal introduction to the Club has been given.

• Written invitations are given so that people know the location and Club schedule.
