Overview
Created in 1994 by Herbalife Nutrition Founder and First Distributor, Mark Hughes (1956-2000), the Herbalife Nutrition Foundation (HNF) was created to give children access to good nutrition. Millions of children around the world have been helped thanks to the generosity of our donors.
Over the years, our mission has evolved to support improving communities and other vulnerable populations, primarily by providing greater access to good nutrition. We believe everyone should have access to good nutrition, and with more than 820 million undernourished people around the world, we know more needs to be done and we know we can help. In addition, HNF regularly supports relief efforts in response to catastrophic natural disasters around the world.

Letter from the Chairman
Dear Friends and Supporters,
A commitment to improving lives is a noble and rewarding purpose. And when those lives are the ones of vulnerable children, there is no better reward than knowing a child is being cared for so they can grow and flourish into adulthood.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Herbalife Nutrition Foundation, and we have every reason to celebrate. Thanks to your generous support, we’re able to serve nearly 100,000 children each year, honoring our belief that good nutrition is about more than just having enough food to eat. Through a shared effort among our partners, employees and independent distributors, we are providing children with the nourishment, care, and education they need to thrive today and spread their wings tomorrow.
And though the majority of donations go directly to food subsidy and to those who are economically challenged, we take pride in also supporting other equally important causes. For instance, we recently joined forces with the American Cancer Society to raise funds for cancer research and help educate the public on the importance of early detection, good nutrition and a healthy active lifestyle.
All of this is possible due to the tremendous work of a dedicated team, and the amazing generosity of countless independent distributors and volunteers. A sincere thank you to all of you.

Dear HNF Friends and Supporters,
Thank you for helping us make 2018 a remarkable year for the Herbalife Nutrition Foundation! I believe we are stronger than ever, due to the amazing community that comes together to support the children we help serve.
In 2018, we celebrated our very first Global Month of Purpose - a month dedicated to giving back to our communities. During this month, independent distributors, employees, friends and family from 44 countries donated over 11,000 hours to nonprofits around the world by painting classrooms, cooking healthy meals and planning fun activities with children. This is a great example of the generosity and commitment of our community, and the reason for our ongoing growth and success.
To round out the year, we committed $1 million to the expansion of our flagship Casa Herbalife Nutrition program around the world. Our goal is to continue making an impact in the lives of children and families, by reaching more than 160 organizations.
It is truly amazing what we have achieved, thanks to the ongoing and generous support of our donors. Here’s to the next 25 years!

2019 Humanitarian Winner
Every year, Herbalife Nutrition Foundation (HNF) gives the Humanitarian Award to Herbalife Nutrition Independent Distributors who exemplify HNF’s mission and have made a significant contribution to helping those in need. Nominations are received from around the world and are evaluated based on the nominee’s philanthropic activity, community leadership, volunteerism and advocacy.
For the 2019 Humanitarian Award Global Award, HNF recognized Queenie Leung for her devotion to making a difference in the lives of children all over the world. Queenie sponsors and supports low-income families in Hong Kong by providing better opportunities to those in need through life-enhancing education, as well as the opportunity to interact and support each other in the community via nutrition education and sponsored meals. She also volunteers with several organizations such as Children’s Cancer Foundation, Comfort House of the Elderly and the Society for Abandoned Animals. She also founded her own charitable organization called Q Farm, an organic farm where harvest proceeds go to charitable causes. She frequently encourages her team and inspires them to go out and help make a difference in their communities.
In appreciation of her wonderful commitment, HNF donated $10,000 to a charity of her choice. HNF also commends the altruistic efforts of the 2018 Regional Humanitarian winners from around the world:
