NATIONAL VOLUNTEERING WEEK
12th January 2014 – 18th January 2014
On Day 2 of the National Volunteering Week, the goal was to
bring Urbanization and Environment Sustainability to the fore
and across the country. Entrepreneurial Sessions, Plantation
Drives, Sustainable Development Seminars and various
awareness campaigns across the country – saw a lot of support
from people from all sections of the society. Day 2 specifically
saw a tremendous participation from schools and colleges of
various villages & cities.

Aries Agro Limited organized two
seminars for the National
Volunteering Week in Orissa on
the 13th January 2014. The seminar
involved discussion on Modern
Farming & Climate Change.
Young Indians Jaipur Chapter
along with Acharya Bhikshu
Public School organized a
Students rally against Girl
Infanticide on 13th January
2014. Also, a seminar was
organized by MWCJ for the
students on Effective
Urbanization techniques and
sustainable development.
To celebrate National Volunteering Week,
Young Indians, Indore Chapter organized a
Plantation drive on 13th January 2014, at
Khushi School, Indore.

Young Indians, Goa Chapter organized a
Photography Entrepreneurial Course &
Session on Post Processing Images and
Business Networking in Verna, Goa on the
13th January 2014.
A free Education Sponsorship was given to a
student of Ekal Vidyalaya on the 13th January
2014. The event was organized by the Young
Indians, Bhopal Chapter.
Young Indians, Madurai Chapter organized a
Distribution of Composters (Kambha) to
Aparajitha Corporate Services Limited &
Vickram College of Engineering on the 13th
January 2014.

‘MY STREET VENDOR’ PROJECT
AIESEC Volunteers from different countries participated in the India@75, ‘My Street Vendor
Project’ which aims to promote & recognize the role of street vendors in a sustainable urban
landscape and community. As part of the awareness drive for the project they are clicking &
sharing street vendor images in 1000+ numbers.

Chapter in association
with various schools and
colleges across the city,
organized Computer
Workshops, Physics and
Robology classes among
other things on the 13th
January 2014.
Young Indians Vadodra Chapter in association with AIESEC and Navrachna University
celebrated the Kite Festival in the campus of Navrachna University to promote Environmental
Stability on the 13th January 2014.
