Step 1: Log into the FAMIS web portalhttps://dfoforms.nycenet.edu/FamisPortalUse your regular FAMIS user ID and Password
Step 2: Select "Core Curriculum" from the "Purchasing and Payments" menu.
Step 3: Review that your school location code is accurate and select "Next" to continue to order.
Step 4: Select ReadyGEN and Phonics/Word Kit for your full K-5 curriculum needs.
ReadyGEN is a comprehensive K-5 core curriculum built expressly for the CCLS around unit modules and text sets with instructional support to cover a full year of curriculum.
ReadyGEN includes:
• Unit modules, including rigorous text-dependent questions, integrated word study, academic vocabulary and related summative tasks for speaking, listening, language and writing
• A balance of informational and literary texts with multiple genres to engage student interest while meeting CCLS text complexity requirements
• Texts that build topic and content knowledge within and across grade levels so that all students can access rich, high-interest text and deepen knowledge
