    seminars.

    nationalbasis.Wemonitorandevaluateourtrainingdelivery

    onanongoingbasis,andrespondaccordinglytoeedback.We

    Payment Policy

    Coursenumbersarelimited,soweadvisethatpaymentbemadeat

    On Demand or Tailored Training

    NYCIalsoprovidesondemanddeliveryoanumberotrainingcoursesalongwithprovidingspecifcallytailoredcourseson

    request.Thesecateredtrainingscanbedeliveredtoindividual

    organisationsoracollectionoorganisationsatadesiredlocation

    anddate.Elementsoanumberorelatedcoursescanbe

    combinedidesired.Anycoursesthatareavailablebyrequestare

    marked*availableondemandortailored.

    Organisationsshouldbeawarethattheseopportunitiesareoeredonthebasisocapacityandresources.Assuch,they

    maybesubjecttoanadditionalcostdependingonanyadditional

    preparationworkinvolved.

    AnyoneinterestedinexploringthisoptionshouldcontacttheNYCI

    TrainingAdministratorwhowillco-ordinatewiththeappropriatesta

    membertoseeiitispossible.Onceatrainingcoursehasbeen

    negotiatedandagreed,acontractwillbeissuedwhichwillormally

    confrmthedetailsandtermsotheagreement.

    Cancellation Policy

    Cancellation by NYCICourseeesandarrangementsaregenerallybasedonthe

    minimumnumberoparticipantsinordertobeabletorunacourse.

    NYCIwillreservetherighttocancelanycourseshouldparticipant

    numbersnotbesufcient,eithertomakethedeliverycosteective

    ortoprovideapositivelearningenvironmentandexperienceor

    participants.Inthiseventallregisteredparticipantswillbeinormed

    atleastfveworkingdayspriortothecommencementdateandall

    paideeswillbereunded.

    Inrelationtowherebookingsaremadeandtheee(irequired)

    hasnotbeenpaid,NYCI,ollowingcontactwiththeindividual/

    organisation,willreservetherighttocancelanyprovisionalplace

    allocatedwithouturtherrecourse.

    Cancellation by Participants

    Whereabookinghasbeenreceivedandconfrmedollowing

    payment,theollowingcriteriawillapplytoensurethatanycosts

    bornebyNYCIarecovered.

    Cancellation of On Demand or Tailored Training

    Inthecaseoaspecifcallyarrangedtrainingoneitherothese

    terms,therewillbenoseteetobepaid.However,organisationsshouldnotethatinlinewiththeContractorServiceDelivery

    betweentheorganisationandNYCI,anycostsincurredbyNYCI

    oritssub-contractedtrainerswillbepayable.Thesecostswill

    includeanyliabilitiestoNYCIonvenue,accommodation,oodand

    rereshments,productionomaterials;aswellasanycontractual

    costssuchastrainerseesetc.

    National Quality Standards Framework for Youth Work

    ThroughoutthebrochurethereisreerencetoNationalQuality

    StandardsFrameworkorYouthWorkwhichwaslaunchedin

    July2010.TheaimotheNationalQualityStandardsFramework

    (NQSF)istoprovidetheestablishmentoasingle,standardised

    rameworkthatwouldactasanoverarchingstructuretoensure

    andenhancequalityserviceprovisioninyouthwork.Aresourceisavailabletoactasasupportanddevelopmenttooloryouthwork

    organisationsandprojectswhichplacesyoungpeopleatitscore.

    NYCIs on-demand and short-term tailored training offersyouth organisations the opportunity to avail of youth artstraining specic to their organisational needs and context.In the past, short-term and on-demand training has beendelivered in conjunction with organisations such as TheGallery of Photography, The National Association of YouthDrama and international providers including Arts Plan UK.

    NYCIs Crticat in Yuth Arts

    NYCIs Certicate in Youth Arts course is the only one of its kindin Ireland. Certied by NUI Maynooth, it provides participantswith a contextual and practice-based understanding of artspractice with young people. It provides opportunities toexperience various art forms, learn from practitioners in theeld and consider the values and methodologies underpinningarts practice with young people. It is the rst opportunity many

    participants already working in the youth arts eld will have tocertify their own experiential learning.
