For OT Month in April 2012, NYSOTA launched the “Where is YOUR NYSOTA Spirit?” campaign. This campaign centers on our new NYSOTA hand, easily recognizable with the NYSOTA logo and colorful highlighter fingers. Having first been spotted at the AOTA Conference in Indianapolis in 2011, between then and now the NYSOTA hand has been popping up across the world at various OT and NYSOTA events, as well as vacations, parties, volunteering events...everywhere! Tammy Boire, OTR/L acknowledged at Capital District MeetingAt a recent Capital District Meeting, Elaine Hill, OTR/L presented Tammy Boire, OTR/L with her nomination letter and thanked her for her dedication and support over many years. Tammy was awarded a 2012 NYSOTA Award of Merit for Service which was presented at the NYSOTA Annual Business Meeting held during the NYSOTA Annual Conference in Rochester.

NYSOTA is pleased to welcome Amy Rich, Anna Zenker and Shanaaz Bell as they “give a hand” to the Capital District!

Conference Thanks NYSOTA would like to thank all those that participated in the 2012 NYSOTA Conference in Rochester, NY, including vendors and sponsors, speakers, committee members, board members and volunteers. Events at conference raised $1400 dollars and will be used to support the NYSOTPAC.
