PRESENTATION SESSIONS Concurrent sessions will be Thursday afternoon of conference, each session comprising of two streams. Each stream will comprise either two seminar style presentations or one interactive presentation. Seminar Presentation: sessions will be presented in tutorial, colloquium, lecture or visual presentation (including power point, multi-media, and visual or performance art) format. Abstracts selected within this style will have a strong emphasis on models that are forward moving and implementing action. These sessions will be 30 minutes in duration, maximum of 25 minutes presentation and 5 minutes Q&A. Interactive Workshops: sessions will be presented in an action education or training format. Abstracts selected for inclusion within this style are expected to actively and experientially engage participants in workshop content. These sessions will be one hour in duration, with any question and answer sessions to be contained within this time. POSTER SESSION Posters may use graphics, tables, or charts, but must not exceed A0 (84cm x 119cm) in size. The display panels provided are 1m in diameter so we would suggest a portrait page orientation for posters. Laptop computers and visual display devises may be used if the presenter provides them. All selected posters will be displayed in the foyer of the entrance to the auditorium (The Devon Hotel). SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS Abstracts for papers or posters are to be no more than 300 (2100 characters) words on an issue fitting to the industry which compliments the conference theme, reports the results of completed research CALL FOR PAPERS AND POSTERS The NZ Occupational Health Nurses’ Association welcomes abstracts for the 2017 NZOHNA Conference to be held from 21-22nd September 2017 at Devon Hotel, New Plymouth. Abstracts must be submitted by 17 March 2017. All abstracts ae to be submitted

online at www.nzohna2017. Authors will have notified of acceptance on 31 March 2017, and completed papers will be due by 28 July 2017.

On acceptance authors are expected to register for the conference. Registration on the day of the presentation will be complimentary, however registration fees will be payable if attending on other days.

SELECTION CRITERIAThe conference organising committee will evaluate the content of abstracts for relevance to the conference theme, clarity, originality and timeliness.

CALL FOR PAPERS AND POSTERSThe NZ Occupational Health Nurses’ Association welcomes abstracts for the 2017 NZOHNA Conference to be held from 21-22nd September 2017 at Devon Hotel, New Plymouth.

The theme for the conference is “Healthy Workers – the future of your business”. The conference committee are seeking concurrent session presenters to compliment the theme to energise and engage with the delegates with innovative ideas as well as promoting discussion.
