BUILDING HOPEHabitat for Humanity of BentonCounty, Inc. is a nonprofit

Christian housing organizationwhose goal is to eliminate

poverty housing from withinBenton County and to partnerwith the community to make

decent shelter a matter ofconscience as well as action.

OUR MISSION

Habitat builds decent, affordableand energy efficient houses in

partnership with those in need ofadequate shelter, regardless of

age, gender, national origin,religion or ethnicity.

Habitat serves families in over 70countries and in all 50 states.

Habitat for Humanity of BentonCounty is one of 17 affiliates inthe state of Arkansas. We arecurrently partnering with 70

families, including 75 adults and131 children. Over the years ouraffiliate has constructed over 80

homes in the county.

Habitat for Humanity does notgive away homes for free, butrather builds homes in equal

partnership with families livingin poverty and the community.

Future Habitat Homeownersinvest at least 400 hours of

"sweat equity," or manual labor,and pay off their homes with an

affordable mortgage.

THE RESTOREThe ReStore is open to thepublic year-round, Monday

through Saturday,9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. You can

support the store byvolunteering, shopping anddonating gently used house

wares or furniture. All profits goback into Habitat to pay

operations and a portion of thebuilds each year.

We envision a worldwhere everyone has a

safe, decent andaffordable place to live.
