SVdP – COVENTRY NEWS
Every Friday during Lent SVdP-Coventry will be holding a Poor Man’s Supper where various soups, breads and grilled cheese sandwiches will be served in the SVP Church basement from 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM. Sign up
sheets are available in the back of both Churches. On February 29th , a Funny4Funds Comedy Fund-raiser will be held in the SS John Paul Parish Hall!! It is BYOS (Bring Your Own Snacks) and a Cash Bar will be available along with Raffles and a 50/50! Doors are 7:00 PM and the Show starts at 8:00 PM!! Come enjoy an evening of laughs with your friends and help support our charity! Tickets are $20 and may be purchase after Mass, at the door or by calling Susan Brayman at (401)578-4753. Many of you have already received a mailing from the Catholic Charity Appeal. This year the campaign will begin in February. Next weekend, February 22nd & 23rd John Barry, the Bishop’s Secretary for Social Ministry, will speak to us at each Mass regarding the work that the fund supports, and he will lead us through the In-Pew solicitation.

Classes for Grades 1 though 8: from 10:00am - 11:00am Sunday: February 23, March 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29.
We will be making Polish Food for this year’s Festival on Thursdays February 20th, 27th, March 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th; Fridays February 21th, 28th, March 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th and Saturdays February 22th, 29th, March 7th, 14th, 21th, 28th. Everyone is welcome to help starting at 8:00am. Will you consider helping us this year? Please, come and spend some time with us.
