ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE MINISTRY
We are beginning an English as a second language ministry (ESL) to teach English to the Hispanic community. An ESL ministry can be vital in teaching the skills necessary for functioning effectively in our community, providing economic advancement, and improv-ing lives. It is also a ministry of service and evangelistic outreach. It can be one of the best ways to demonstrate and share God's love with others and to introduce the gospel of Jesus Christ. This will begin on Sunday, September 8 at 5:00 PM in Room W412. Duncan Young, a member of our church, will be coordinating this ministry with the support of Pastor Jay Johnston. No special qualifications are required - just a desire to help change lives through teaching and ministry. Please email Pastor Jay Johnston for more info.
