This catalogue illustrates our standard items, so if you can’t find what you need, please call us to discuss how we may help you.

Incorrect DeliveryOn receipt of the goods the customer is required to check the consignment. In the unlikely event that the type or quantity of goods is incorrect then you are requested to notify our Customer Care Department within 7 working days of the date of delivery. After 7 working days Össur® UK Ltd cannot accept responsibility for an alleged incorrect delivery.

Return of Goods PolicyAuthorisation must be issued by Össur® UK Ltd prior to goods being returned, please contact Customer Care for a return reference number and ensure sections 1-5 of Return Advice Note (on the back of the dispatch note) are fully completed. Soiled, custom manufactured, modified or obsolete goods, or goods delivered more than three months previously may not be returned. Goods accepted for return must be in a resalable condition, guaranteed infection free and in the original packaging. Össur® UK Ltd reserves the right to charge delivery costs and / or re-stocking fee of up to 20% on returned goods.

A market leader in the field of osteoarthritis knee bracing for many years, the Unloader One® has been redesigned to provide numerous benefits to both the clinician and patient, specifically improved ease of use, improved comfort and a more intuitive fitting / servicing. The brace combines a streamlined, flexible single upright with Dual Dynamic Force Straps to generate a higly effective unloading force for unicompartmental conditions. The Dynamic Force Control System empowers the patient to manage the therapeutic effects of the brace whilst liners coated with Össur Sensil® Silicone Technology eliminate migration. The flexible perforated shells conform easily to patient anatomy, giving Unloader One® an excellent out of the box fit. We have a broad range of sizes including the Unloader One® Short and Unloader One® Plus for larger patients.

This lightweight brace preserves the clinically-proven Össur Unloader 3-Points of Leverage design by incorporating Dual Dynamic Force Straps that are easily fine-tuned with the SmartDosing® dial. With regard to components of the brace that wear with use, which include straps, liners, covers, sleeves, return cords and hinge coatings, these components shall be warranted free from defect in material and workmanship for 6 months.Prefabricated Knee Braces – Össur warrants the frame and hinge components to be free of defects in material and workmanship for two years. With regard to components of the brace that wear with use, including straps, liners, covers, sleeves, return cords and hinge coatings, these components shall be warranted free from defect in material and workmanship for 6 months.Return Policy - Upon receipt of the Össur knee brace, the provider shall inspect it to ensure that it meets the requirements set forth in the order. If the brace does not meet the order requirements, the provider must call the Össur Customer Care Department at 08450 065 065, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. Prior to returning a brace for any reason, including product warranty or patient satisfaction issues, the provider is required to obtain a Return Authorisation (RA) number from Customer Care. Rebound® CartilageThe success of an articular cartilage repair is dependent on patient compliance to the rehabilitation process. The protocol is based on restricted cartilage load combined with gradual increase in activity. Many rehabilitation protocols suggest crutches for partial weight-bearing and it is the standard of care for successful outcomes. However, patient compliance to partial weight-bearing instructions with crutches has been shown to be inconsistent.

The Rebound® Cartilage is a protective functional solution designed to support regeneration of the knee cartilage after repair procedures such as Microfracture, OATS and (M)ACI. Based on the clincally-proven 3 Points of Leverage System and patented Cartilage Protection Straps, joint unloading is maintained up to 45º flexion for protection of the cartilage during the healing process.

Rebound® PCLThe PCL, compared to the ACL, has the intrinsic ability to heal and regain continuity after an injury. The PCL experiences variable tensile forces during knee flexion. Insufficient healing after a PCL rupture leads to significant pathologies, such as, chronic anterior knee pain or knee OA. Healing of the PCL in an elongated position can lead to chronic instability and disability. Therefore, physiologically correct positioning of the PCL during conservative or post-surgical rehabilitation is important.

The custom made Rebound® PCL is the world’s first dynamic force PCL brace. It applies a physiologically correct dynamic force to the PCL during rehabilitation.

Rebound® ACLPartial anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tears can lead to rotary laxity or abnormal anteroposterior laxity of the knee. Acute ACL injury may lead to unsatisfactory knee function, decreased activity and poor knee related quality of life. Insufficient healing after an ACL rupture leads to significant pathologies, such as chronic knee pain or knee OA. Therefore, anatomically correct positioning during conservative treatment or after surgery is important. The Rebound® ACL applies a physiologically correct dynamic force to the ACL during rehabilitation. By counteracting the anatomical loading characteristics of the ACL, the Dynamic Tensioning System decreases the load on the ACL to allow it to heal whilst maintained at the correct length.

Rebound® PCLThe PCL, compared to the ACL, has the intrinsic ability to heal and regain continuity after an injury. The PCL experiences variable tensile forces during knee flexion. Insufficient healing after a PCL rupture leads to significant pathologies, such as, chronic anterior knee pain or knee OA. Healing of the PCL in an elongated position can lead to chronic instability and disability. Therefore, physiologically correct positioning of the PCL during conservative or post-surgical rehabilitation is important.

The custom made Rebound® PCL is the world’s first dynamic force PCL brace. It applies a physiologically correct dynamic force to the PCL during rehabilitation.

INDICATIONS FOR USE

Posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) injury, including reconstruction or functional, non-surgical treatment


Dynamic Tension System (DTS) is designed to increase the load on the tibia as the knee goes through flexion, providing an anterior drawer force necessary to decrease load on the healing PCL to allow it to heal

Three tension settings to optimise the biomechanically correct pos-terior tibial load for each patient. Three shear knob options allow the possibility to readjust the load e.g. in case of swelling

Rebound® ACLPartial anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tears can lead to rotary laxity or abnormal anteroposterior laxity of the knee. Acute ACL injury may lead to unsatisfactory knee function, decreased activity and poor knee related quality of life. Insufficient healing after an ACL rupture leads to significant pathologies, such as chronic knee pain or knee OA. The hand laminated, rigid, carbon composite CTi® frame captures the tibia, providing the brace-to-bone contact needed for maximum stabilisation of the knee joint.

The Accutrac™ hinge was developed by analysing natural leg motion and resulted in the invention of a patented 4-bar linkage system, that more accurately mimics the natural movement of an unbraced knee.

Össur Sensil® Silicone Technology was initially developed for the prosthetics industry and has now been integrated into the CTi®. In combination with an aerospacer base mesh fabric, this innovative and patent pending breathable lining material virtually eliminates brace migration.

The CTi® Custom is generally used for high levels of support where comfort and strength are not compromised by weight and bulkiness. It can also offer greater advantages for accurate fitting where leg shape abnormalities present a problem.

Rebound® CartilageThe success of an articular cartilage repair is dependent on patient compliance to the rehabilitation process. The protocol is based on restricted cartilage load combined with gradual increase in activity. Many rehabilitation protocols suggest crutches for partial weight-bearing and it is the standard of care for successful outcomes. However, patient compliance to partial weight-bearing instructions with crutches has been shown to be inconsistent.

Product Warranty - Custom Made Knee Braces – Össur warrants the hinge components to be free of defects in material and workmanship for the lifetime of the patient. With regard to components of the brace that wear with use, which include straps, liners, covers, sleeves, return cords and hinge coatings, these components shall be warranted free from defect in material and workmanship for 6 months.Prefabricated Knee Braces – Össur warrants the frame and hinge components to be free of defects in material and workmanship for two years. With regard to components of the brace that wear with use, including straps, liners, covers, sleeves, return cords and hinge coatings, these components shall be warranted free from defect in material and workmanship for 6 months.Return Policy - Upon receipt of the Össur knee brace, the provider shall inspect it to ensure that it meets the requirements set forth in the order. If the brace does not meet the order requirements, the provider must call the Össur Customer Care Department at 08450 065 065, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. Prior to returning a brace for any reason, including product warranty or patient satisfaction issues, the provider is required to obtain a Return Authorisation (RA) number from Customer Care. Final acceptance of all returned items remains the discretion of the Össur Quality Control Department.Satisfaction guarantee and product warranty time frames begin on the date the brace is delivered to the patient. Proof of brace delivery, signed and dated by the patient, is required for processing of guarantee and warranty returns. Satisfaction guarantee does not apply to the Össur post-operative braces.The stabilising effect of a knee brace will depend on the type of brace, patient age, height, weight, muscle tone, severity of the injury/OA, the type of injury and the medical treatment involved. A knee brace is designed to reduce the potential and severity of a knee injury and is not a guarantee against injury. IntroductionÖssur’s range of foot and ankle products help resolve a wide variety of biomechanical problems, from ankle instability to drop foot. Products include the Rebound® Air Walker, an alternative to short leg casts applied primarily to treat soft tissue injuries, stable fractures and for use in post-operative therapy. DH Offloading Walker® Diabetic patients with neuropathy are prone to developing ulcers on the sole of the foot in areas of pressure and shear force. The DH Offloading Walker® is an effective, compliant and cost effective solution for treating plantar ulceration.

The walker combines a walker frame with a patented pressure relief insole to effectively heal plantar ulcers. The insole consists of hundreds of independent hexagonal pieces that collectively adjust and react to forces in all areas of the foot. These pieces can also be easily removed and skived for selective ulcer site offloading.

Clinically proven to heal plantar ulcers, this off the shelf product dramatically reduces shear forces, manages dangerous peak pressures throughout the weight-bearing phases of gait, and is an easy to use, patient friendly product.

Form Fit® Ankle BraceThe Form Fit® Ankle Brace is a 'hybrid' of a stirrup ankle brace and a lace-up soft ankle support. The softgood is made of a breathable mesh aerospacer material overmoulded with a semi-rigid plastic exoskeleton. When applied, the contoured plastic provides the medial/lateral support of a stirrup brace and the softgood applies the compression of a lace-up support. In addition, the softgood aeromesh is highly breathable, increasing comfort and greatly improving the hygiene of the product.

The Form Fit® Ankle Brace has multiple applications in both clinical and athletic environments, such as sprains/strains, post-cast, support for weak ankles and prophylaxis.

AFO DynamicThe AFO Dynamic provides a strong, lightweight solution for patients with varying degrees of drop foot secondary to a variety of neurological conditions. Össur has taken the carbon fibre technology from its Flex-Foot® range and incorporated it into the AFO Dynamic to provide increased support over traditional ankle foot orthoses. The energy storing properties of carbon fibre make it an ideal material for this orthosis as it provides real energy return. DH Offloading Post-Op Style ShoeIn addition to the DH Offloading Walker we can also offer diabetic patients at risk of developing ulcers on the sole of the foot the DH Offloading Post-Op Style Shoe.

Designed to fit either the left or right foot, it provides optimal offloading utilising our patented post-op shoe and offloading insole with the hundreds of independent hexagonal pieces. These pieces, composed of a tri-layer poron material, work independently and collectively adjust and react to forces in more than 200 areas under the foot. They can also be easily removed and skived for selective ulcer site offloading.

This off-the-shelf product dramatically reduces shear forces and manages dangerous peak pressures throughout the weight-bearing phases of gait.

This means that this shoe can be an excellent alternative to post-op style shoes with static pads (wool, felt, foam, etc.) for optimal offloading of plantar ulcers and other forefoot disorders such as bunions and hammer toes.
