Commitment with urban landscape

. The typology of these constructions is varied,embankments, piers, warehouses, dams,pavilions, fences, tunnels and so on. Theimpacts of these constructions on the naturalenvironment are serious, and are currentlytaken into account on Health andEnvironmental Impact Assessments, as theyare also subject to regulation by lawsprotecting the landscape heritage *.

Besides the biological impact on ecosystems,their volume is an imposition that interferesthe view of the landscape. The growinginterest on minimizing the visual impact ofthese constructions has lead to several pilotprojects. Certainly the color factor is a corepremise integrating every situation and naturalcontext. ... And in some cases, ART maybecome an appropriate means to build poeticawareness and reinforce the intangible valuesof places.

Errepidez eta industriaz osatutako azpiegiturakikusmenerako oztopo bihurtu dira hainbatingurunetan.Eraikuntzak mota askotakoakdira: ezpondak, zutabeak, deposituak, zuloak,presak, pabilioiak, hesiak, tunelak eta abar.Natura-inguruneetan horiek eraikitzeakondorio larriak dakartza, eta gaur,ingurumenaren eragin-txostenetan kontuhandiz aztertzen da hori. Gainera, paisaiarenondarea babesteko legeen bitartez araututadago*.Ekosisteman eragiten diren ondoriobiologikoez gain, eraikuntza horien bolumenekpaisaiaren armoniari traba egiten diote. Zentzuhorretan, gero eta handiagoa den begi-inpaktua gutxitzeko interesari esker, zenbaitprozeduren ezartze esperimentalaahalbidetzen da. Zalantzarik ez dago irizpidekromatikoa gakoetako bat dela kasu bakoitzanaturaren testuinguruan integratu ahal izateko,besteak beste. Batzuetan gainera, ARTEAbera ere tresna egokia izango da poetikokisentiberatzeko eta lekuen balio ukiezinasendotzeko.

Compromiso con el paisaje

La industria y las infraestructuras vialesigeneran un rastro de obstáculos visuales,en los mas diversos parajes. La tipologia deestas construcciones es muy variada:taludes, pilares, depósitos, silos, presas,pabellones, vallados, túneles etc.Las graves consecuencias de su ubicación en los entornos naturales se estudiancuidadosamente en los proyectos de impactoambiental, siendo actualmente objeto deregulación por las leyes que protejen delpatrimonio paisajístico *Aparte de la repercusiones biológicas en losecosistemas, estas construcciones seimponen como interferencias de la armoníapaisajística. El creciente interés por minimizarsu impacto visual propicia la aplicación dediversos procedimientos. Sin duda el factorcromático es una de las claves deintegración en cada situación-contextonatural y en ciertos casos el ARTE puedeconstituir un medio idóneo para reforzar elvalor poético e intangible de los lugares.

DK realiza proyectos para optimizar lascondiciones ambientales en entornosurbanos. La percepción cotidiana de unaimagen degradada como la quepresentan algunas zonas de nuestrasciudades, influye negativamente en elestado de ánimo de sus habitantes.Utilizando el color como una claveesencial en sus intervenciones, DK logratransformar y reactivar espacios deaspecto depresivo mejorando el confortde los ciudadanos.

DKk hiri inguruneetako ingurumen-baldintzak hobesteko helburuarekinburutzen ditu proiektuak. Gure hirietakozenbait gunek duten itxura degradatuaegunero begiztatzeak biztanleen gogoaneragin negatiboa du. Horregatik, DKkbere interbentzioetan kolorea oinarrizkogakotzat hartzen du, eta itxuradeprimigarria duten guneak eraldatu etasuspertzen ditu. Era berean, gainera,biztanleen erosotasunari mesede egitendio.

DK undertakes projects leading toimprove environmental conditions inurban settings. The daily perception ofa degraded image that some areas ofour cities present has a negative impacton the wellbeing and perception of peoplethat live there. Using color as a coreelement in its intervention processes,DK achieves to transform and revitalizedepressed areas, with the subsequentbeneficial impact on people’s welfare.

Las soluciones estéticas se adaptan ala particularidad de cada enclaveanalizando diferentes aspectos: paisajecircundante, puntos de vista principales,connotaciones culturales y otrasvariables.DK realiza intervenciones integrales enedificios y sobre todo tipo deconstrucciones.En el espacio urbano hemos intervenidoen bloques de viviendas, plazas,pabellones deportivos y escuelas. Eninfraestructuras públicas nuestrosdiseños han sido aplicados en pilaresde autopistas, taludes, depósitos,pantalanes, vallados, y túneles.

Irtenbide estetikoak emateko garaian,tokian tokiko berezitasunak hartzen dirakontuan eta, horretarako, interbentzioakburutuko diren guneetako ezaugarriakaztertzen dira, hala nola, oinarrizkoikuspuntuak, inguruko paisaia,konnotazioak eta kultura-ohiturak. DKkgoitik beherako interbentzioak egitenditu, bai eta mota guztietako eraikinetakointerbentzioak ere.Hirietan, etxebizitza blokeetan lan egindugu, adibidez, plazetan, kirolpabilioietan eta eskoletan. Azpiegiturapublikoen kasuan, gure diseinuakeuspen-ezpondetan, autobideetakozutabeetan, deposituetan, kaietan,hesietan, tuneletan eta pasabideetanezarri dira.

Aesthetic solutions are adapted to thespecificity of each location, taking intoaccount the differential aspects of eachintervention area as: its main views, thesurrounding landscape, the connotationsand cultural uses etc. DK’s interventionsinclude both entire buildings and all otherkinds of constructions.In urban environments we haveintervened in blocks of flats, city squares,sport pavilions and schools buildingsamong many. As for public infrastructureour designs have been implemented incontainment slopes, highway pillars,warehouses, docks, fences, tunnels andpassageways.
